Firstly, we need a feedback form for AQ40 PTR. You seem to be neglecting EU forum… because there’s no thread on our side, and we can not make a US post because 99% of us don’t have an account there to do so.
Secondly, in reference to the post on US forums… because I cannot post there, regarding the lower War Effort materials; don’t do this.
The War Effort is the largest community centric event in WoW history.
Having the entire realm work together to farm the materials, having every dungeon and farming area flooded with players and massively deflating a lot of gold/materials from the econ is one of the best and unique events WoW has ever had. Lowing these materials when realms like Dreadnaught have equal population to realms last fresh that opened the gates within 2-3 weeks is reckless. It defeats the entire purpose of WoW Classic. Also, who even cares in AQ40 opens in 1 week or 3 weeks? These events are what makes WoW Classic so great.
This event should remain what it is, a server wide effort from both factions. Not you cut 50%
The amount of materials you need should be dynamic. For example, Dreadnaught has the highest population so should remain the same as last fresh.
Jom is slightly lower, so 10% reduced, Kingsfall for example is half Dreadnaught size so it should be 50% reduction.
Thirdly, I don’t agree with “optional” difficulty level. While I do understand your mindset, it’s not in the flavour of Classic. It should be the same for everyone. SoM was supposed to be harder difficulty, but with some QoL changes. Don’t just allow some people to AFK brain the content and other people do the “harder” part for 1-2 extra items.
Lastly, Ive cleared AQ40 on the PTR already. There’s some issues, but honestly you brought this out 1 year ago. Don’t delay the PTR for another month like BWL. If you delay it by 1 month we’ve then got War Effort say 2 weeks? Then 5 days, so it’s gonnna be out in nearly 2 months, that’s too long for PTR - of which it’s nearly completely fine.
