Bad luck protection is a bit far but changing the pet from 525 to 450 so people can get less fossil sites isn’t game breaking enough and would give people immeasurable quality of life.

Grats. Genuinely that’s great. I didn’t have that luck. And trying to form a party willing to run that dungeon that only dropped a useful item for a Healer was a pain in itself. Tried to make it less so by going in as a tank but then you’re actually competing with Healer and going for need when you’re a Prot felt like being a prick. Being in a guild wasn’t helping since I could not commit to competitive ones (working in shifts meant I generally would miss 25-50% of raids while “social” ones I was part of were mostly… The opposite of that with players staying silent most of the time. Had to learn to Solo it… Two Weeks. Two freaking weeks into Ulduar I finally got the damn thing.
Didn’t say it was hateful. You’re just being a bit unfair and I’m a bit unsure as to why you are so dead against small changes that would greatly benefit your fellow players.

I’d say it’s because said small changes may have negative impact in general. Primarily if the BiS from Archeology were guaranteed then it would be reasonable to assume they would be considered mandatory for absolutely everyone to even be considered for Raiding, right? People who don’t go for Archeology at the moment because they don’t feel the rewards are worth the potentially endless grind will now be forced to do it. Making the game even bigger sweatshop than we already made it without Blizzard’s help.
Not to mention giving BLP for that will make people ask for more. BLP for Raids and HC dungeons? Putting absolutely best gear in JP shop so that everyone can eventually get it while it’s actually relevant? There’s never a simple way and answer and woth even best intentions (not that Blizzard has those) players will find a way to make things miserable anyway.
How many dollars does it cost per dig?

Not that it helped me. My gear was still to weak for any group to ever allow me to join for Ulduar since my T7 Luck was as bad as ever. Most groups on NK was already running HCs. And with shared lockouts for Phase 3 I realized I lost any chance to catch up. Never did Ulduar, Never did ToC and will probably never do ICC.

Rets cried out for changes at the start of wrath. They got a change and it was a big deal for the rest of the expansion. It didnt stop warriors from asking about a small change for them in their darkest days, they didnt get it but thats one of the things a forum is for.
Blizz can read over what the population is saying and make their own assumptions.
I dont think a small change like making the pterrorrdax 450 is that big for the amount it would offer but obviously people are bound to disagree. If people arent already trying to get the weapons from archaeology currently then the change doesnt affect them at all
he has multiple accounts… even though u can get multiple of any item if you literally level it up on other character on same account. i know because i have two shields for example
I stopped playing after Ulduar so i didnt do totgc and icc as well and i do not intend on doing them. Been doing lfd with ulduar gear. Dungeons are piss easy. You can do it if you somehow get some gear pieces.
play prot pala. Which stuff do i have to dig up for the tanking shield?
fosils are the way to get shield. also have the staff and trinket… just missing the sword
