Are addons basically cheats?

Once again, I"m ahead of this conversation, having made the exact same thread literally two years ago:

Let’s start with the definition. “Cheating in video games involves a video game player using various methods to create an advantage beyond normal gameplay, in order to make the game easier. Cheats may be activated from within the game itself, or created by third-party software.” Knowing exactly the precise, exact timing of every single arena opponent’s trinkets and major cooldowns is cheating, as this data is not available in game, using WoW’s base UI settings.
