Are the tanks doing something wrong or is the 2nd last pack in vortex pinnacle overtuned?

thats the 2nd last pack before last boss ? arent you supposed to BL that on fortified instead boss on higher keys ?

Brackenhide is easier then VP in all situations my friend.

Can’t remember being befriended with you and no.

The tank was definitly bad if he was one-shot, or undergeared.

But, that pack is pretty vile. I recommend hero/lust on it and everyone has to be on the ball.

I have tried CC’ing some mobs, but the CC seems to break for no good reason. Not broken by players but simply the mobs come out of it.

And still, i can tank that Pack with my Brewmaster, but i have to make sure to have my -50% damage CD trinket (Either the NL or BH one) and 1-2 Def CD up.

This pack, in my opinion, is a Bloodlust one in Fortified week. But with competent enough funel DPSers, you can easilly get through it even without it.

Some time in the past, long ago, there were skills that took a mob out of a difficult group for quite a long time. Sheep, root, stun, sleep, trap…

Most of us forgot that these skills exist and hardly anyone is adept at using them, but such skills are the solution to a group having too many mobs to tank. Just as it was in the past.

VP (basicly most of Cata dungeons) was always a CC-heavy dungeon.

Some pack are made to be pull with cd and instant cc.

I hate the 3 caster pack + 2 rogue in hall of infusion.
(Just before mini boss)

He also use spirit bomb while at 100% (this spell heal) and demon spikes at 20% when metamorphosis could save him.
He can kit too, dh do that well.

You coud tyl easy yolo in cata with 5 sec aoe stuns and mass silences, alot od people back then stil lived in classic mentality and forced others to that gameplay

As someone that did all the heroic dungeon achievements shortly after cata was released:

Those packs are doable reliably if you have a Pala or Druid…For the rest, kinda depends on how you pull them.

Its the first pack out of the two that has the highest likelihood of your any other tank getting insta gibbed. The ones at the bottom of the stairs. Most groups cc an adept, if your lucky. The tank pulls and 1 sec later gets one shotted. It’s through unmitigated melee swings. I’ve had it happen twice on a plus 17, 430 geared BDK, with dancing rune wep up and running, bone shield up.

The mobs are on you immediately and it seems their first swings are so fast, hit hard and all hit at the same time. Even if I range pull, get dps to hold off for a few seconds. Then kite them through D&D to me at the top of the steps, I have to stagger step back and circle jerk the mobs while trying to rotate cd’s, get and keep aggro. Still see chunks of hp dropping and the healer sweating to try and help. The swings are so fast, typical using deathstrike to heal after a hit, may kill you as you get 3 hits so fast in a row.

Pala and druid, pull, facetank, lol, next.

VP a walkthrough without much interrupt or cc? You walking though at M+2?

Try not interrupting vortex’s past a 12. Or the assassins, the lighting adds. Just let your tank deal with interrupts yeah?, Certainly don’t bother helping them on first boss, cos it’s not important huh. Fail to cc/interrupt adepts and spend 5 mins trying to kill their packs or watch your tank die due to them and healer having nothing left to use…

Did I mention dispells? Not many of them to bother with either I guess in VP eh.

First boss in brakenhide is, tank stays in front of the big girl, the caster gets interrupted and nuked, 3rd one… meh. How’s that harder than last boss in VP?

No, +14 so far.

If I say - not much cc / interrupt - compared to Brackenhide I mean it is significantly LESS, not without, so spare me of your artificial enrage. It is a difference if I have to throw a sunbeam when it’s ready throughout a whole dungeon or if I struggle with cd on bith, sunbeam and soothe on the way to a first boss already. The packs before BH first boss already can decide whether or not you’re able to time a key. Same for Freehold. Not so much Vortex, where the most common reason for wipes at the last trash packs is people not using pyramids correctly.

Idk… VP on a 20 feels brutal with lots of casts that you either need to stop or personal, hard hits that follow up with dots that shred you if they aren’t dispelled, and packs like the water droplets which all have a cast that wipes you if it’s not stopped.

Meanwhile brackenhide feels like we just hold W and nothing is particularly dangerous. Right side looks like a lot but nothing in there really does all that much, then you skip the whole end of the dungeon.

Nothing artificial or enrage about what I said. Brakenhide is press w and gg take loot in my view, using your attitude.

I believe that with your 410 item level and 0 M+ keys run so far in S2. What Brackenhide / Vortex you’re running? Hero?

Can you please explain what aspects of brackenhide you consider especially difficult? It might be that others simply aren’t pulling the mobs you find typically cause issues,

If any group is going left again in there after first boss, I’m straight up leaving that key, lmao.

Rotbow stalkers are banned. Even Bonebolt hunters are kinda gross on higher levels.

MDT finally has ability lists on the routes now so you can actually see exactly where the problem mobs are, what they do, and maybe how to route to mitigate the issues they cause.
