Only a vocal minority speak on the forums. The silent majority will just play the game without posting here at all. I wouldn’t pay too much mind to the negativity on the forums surrounding DF - the expansion is looking pretty damned good at this very early stage compared to the last two.

I dont know, what’s there to be hyped for? Another new island, like every other expansion. More dungeons and raids? people praise it for what it doesn’t have and going back to the roots and here I am itching for something new and exciting.
I’m more hyped for what Riot is cooking. At least I know that is going to be new and different.
Cautiously optimistic but expecting disappointment… i can’t trust blizz to make a good xpack after BfA and Shadowlands no matter how much hype is built up… again!
IDK man, from what i see online and my friends who enjoy WOW (and aren’t doomers or whatevere) there is a lot of apathy towards the new expansion. I mean obviously i am biased, but still. Compared to what i’ve seen before, not a lot of people care for it.

We will have a better idea once it drops, and we see what the sales are like on that opening weekend - but I expect them to be extremely high to be honest.
I really hope so, i want to be addicted to WOW.

Eh, they kind of painted themselves into a corner with malfurion. Guy was pretty much the strongest “mortal” being on azeroth and there’s no way to actually have a threat from azeroth when malfurion would wipe the floor with almost anyone.
Not quite as hyped as previous expansions but that’s mostly because of BfA + SL. I do want it to be good though, so hopefully it exceeds expectations.

The talent rework has been nice. I couldn’t care less about Dracthyr/Evokers and those two things are the expansion selling features.
Given the 12-month advance they’re now asking for I’m sort of expecting DF to be similar to WoD but with more casual fluff to grind for to compensate for a general lack of meaningful content.
I will check it out regardless, as always, if only to make up my own mind about it.
Let’s hope it is at least slightly better than Legion then it will be a big success already.
Not hyped at all, feels too Disney for my taste.
I enjoyed Shadowlands a lot, would have preferred a sequel, perhaps a Zereth Mortis one. Tons of potential in that zone, if they were to be build from there.

zero chance of that legion was the height of modern wow it’s all down hill from there now we fight the bad guy of the week with zero setup and bad writing
