Are you loyal to your class/spec?

I’ve played druid since closed beta World of Warcraft.
Only now a Warrior cause Blizzard forgot to give druids to Vulpera.

Absolutely not… I change class and spec all the time. And its honestly becoming a problem

I have severe class/spec identity issues xD

Been a hunter main for all my time in WoW except for about 4 months or something, when I rolled paladin in TBC. That was a mistake; went back to my hunter.

Of all my time as a hunter the only time when I wasn’t a BM hunter main was in vanilla, when I played all three specs depending on what was best for the raid we were progressing in. After vanilla I stopped raiding and have been a BM main ever since.

I started Main MM at BFA when it was at the lowest, i liked the gameplay in PvP , even if the damage in BFA S2 was the worst in PvP.
I could have switched
But instead i have gone to “do the best and feedback what’s broken so it could be fixed”
Worked well from BFA->DF S2
And then Holinka left and with hunter mark change happen my faith wavered
I still main MM but i am more altolic since

Not really loyal, I jump back and forth between all my characters that I have at 70.

Most of the time I try and avoid playing characters, which are META as it just feels meh. You see too many of the same class, you’ll have people who are just generally really bad at gaming, so they play meta classes, do extremely poorly in content, give the rest of those classes a bad name, as other people just see nonstop bad players of certain classes.

But it’s always the same situation, nerfs come, buffs arrives, new meta, new bad players.

So I always go with the commonly said phrase… play what you enjoy.

If it’s not meta and you can’t do high end content with pugs, who care. Find a discord, find a guild and run high end content with them.

Option three: I swap because another spec has greater appeal to me for reasons that have nothing to do with community perception. I don’t see the badge of pride in by default sticking to a label, even as the definition of that label (and other labels) changes.

yes in retails i will always play ret (mostly) in classic ill always play lock

I used to be.
Was a priest from wod until shadowlands.

But then i stopped wanting to main a healer and shadow wasnt right for me to main.
So i became a warlock from mid shadowlands until 6 months or so ago when i became a monk.

Id like to think ive found a class ill stick with now but time will tell.

Absolutely not. Some iterations of specs have been fun, others haven’t, and I don’t spend time and money on not having fun.

Rogue is my favourite class. You have to swap between specs if others are performing well. Especially in guilds. They will notice dps difference and will kindly ask for you to respec in to best spec. Or you know, they bench you

Always, except for a brief moment in Pandaria CM’s. There only frost was viable. Other content I was always Fire and always have been. With a name like mine, Fire is the only way to go.

I change class all the time but not because of the meta.

I’ve been maining this girl for 4.5 years, from the last BfA patch. Till then it was a hooman pally, that I since deleted, and I changed my other alts over time - this is the only one that always stayed.

The same doesn’t go for specs, but I was pretty much always healing on her. Shadowform ruins my mogs, and the spec doesn’t feel satisfying to play either (I’d prefer a Disc dps spec that’s Smite centric).

I will focus a meta spec if it appeals to me. If I don’t like the fantasy I pass no matter how meta.

I will un focus a spec I like if it becomes so bad it’s not fun any more. See MW in S1. I came back to it now it is decent again, I want to always love it, but there is a limit.

Life is too short to play hard mode.

Warlock since legion

2-3 years in to the game, yet to pick a main. So, probably not.

But I envy people who are able to play one class and focus on it. I want to be like that too, maybe one day.

about 90%, do always prio my “mains” but am flexible with the specs of the classes i play as i am comfortable dipping into any, but i do have my prefs yes that i try to default too first

I’ve played holy priest since vanilla. You tell me.

This Priest has been my main since TBC, and been primarily Shadow since MoP… so, maybe?
