This Rebskider guy is expressing his own feelings as facts. LFD=LFR is an argument I only saw him make up to this point, while LFR isnt even up to discussion in wotlk. Wotlk is proven to be the most desired expansion when it comes to privat servers (huge majority of the playerbase plays this expansion only) and besides some progression servers they are ALL on 3.3.5 endpatch with LFD. Even most of the progression servers have LFD as a feature pre 3.3 and there isnt a noticeable playerbase asking to remove the feature. These in contrast are facts.
Where have i done that? If you have a quote to demonstrate that i wonder why you didn’t bring it.
How confused are you, that you believe a collection of facts(i have no idea if any of that is true) by it self makes an argument? We are talking about what should be, not what is. If this was just about what is, then there was nothing to talk about.
Blizzard said no dungeon finder LMAO and that would be the end of it.

Without the “@” for the player base graph back in the day (Im not trusted enough to just link it).
For all the 10 months after 3.3 and the LFD introduction of wotlk the playerbase was at its peak, even with no major content patches after that. Players started quitting because Cata was a letdown, not during wotlk with the LFD tool.
That LFD had a negative impact on the game is a not provable claim you make and therefore an opinion.
Wow - that graph just proves that Classic was loved!
You can insert any reason you want when invoking simple sub numbers. They were high because of this. low because of that. Fell/climb due to this or that. I don’t base my opinion on a piece of art/entertainment based on how popular it is, because i’m not a dumbass.
xD Well no shot dude. You can’t make any value statement, without it being an opinion.
Has PvE been ruined in classic and TBC without dungeon finder?
I would love Random Dungeon Finder. I’ve been waiting for Wotlk and Random Dungeon Finder for a long time now, and I was very dissapointed when I heard that they don’t let us have it.
Still, there is no indication of LFD to have a negative effect on the player base all. The same way it is hard to prove the impact of the LFD in a positive way, it is to prove it had a negative impact, since the impact wasnt as huge as people think, as we can see in the player subscription graph. It was just convenient to have, especially for casual players.
The question is, why not include the features that defined the expansion? Blizz themselves stated they want to “recreate the original experience” of the expansions, but the reasons for not recreating the experience (leaving out core features like LFD) is only because they dont like the feature personally, not that they have good arguments again it. Therefore they dont do their very simple job to just recreate the expansion. We should be able to criticize that.
Currently LFD is Normal and Heroic( Retail)
Bring an LFD Normal, and have heroic work like Mythic works in retail win/win.
Worry not, Zulazar. Retail has had LFD for over a decade.
I won’t be the one saying LFD should’ve been added to Vanilla or TBC just because I prefer WotLK with it, since I prefer to have as little changes as possible. But I can say that there are a lot of changes in TBC, for example, that I wouldn’t have imported to Vanilla (such as raids being 25m instead of 40m) that made the game a lot more enjoyable to me - never, not even once, have I found myself missing Classic while playing TBC. In the same vein, I do remember playing WotLK with LFD, and the dungeon experience being a lot smoother and, again, more enjoyable than it currently is.
Classical wow have amazing long dungeons full with adventure.
Expansion dungeons boring copy paste with 2-5 bosses each.
If only actiblizard soft would make game more vanilla-like.
Berny decided. But even with ruined game, there will be blood, shed.
It’s not an adventure anymore if you did them hundreds of times across almost 20 years of playing the game.
Why would people spend 2-3 hours on a Vanilla-style dungeon like BRD when they can spend the same time or less on a raid and get way better rewards? Plus people don’t always have 2-3 hours available when they want to play PvE, and even in Vanilla they always looked for shortcuts whenever possible (hence the various jumps and skips in BRS and such)
Then go play Vanilla? It’s already available.
Nobody but you cares.
Because dungeon rewards are amazing in classical. Make dungeons great again.
Way more jumps after classical vanilla.
Berny numero uno SoM troll.
Then zalanji go retail. Retail already available.
Nobody but zalanji cares.
One more thin. Wotlk not as great as classical vanilla buuuuuut wotlk full of nostalgic players.
Berny must gank!
I don’t want to play retail, never did, never won’t. I want to play TBC and WotLK. It’s what I played the most over these last 12 or so years. They work as they are, they don’t need any major changes to make them more like Vanilla, Retail, or w/e. Ppl who prefer other versions of WoW than TBC and WotLK should go play those and shut the hell up about changes. Including you and your silly wpvp.
Why zalanji have to be mad is just game.
Then why do you even bother posting if you don’t care
Yes.
Berny must step up game! Nostalgical players leveling freely. There will be ganks camps.
