The nerf will probably come in time but it’s just mage’s turn… there will always be a flavour of the month…
DH’s were in that state for 80% of DF anyways
While tru, it is no excuse.
Also dislike mage more because vs dh you can at least play/move your character.
Vs mage you’re stuck in cc or random root while he presses his 3 dmg buttons lol

I dont want Rank 1 , i also dont want to play mage- i main feral for 10 years , thats not gonna change because someone receieved God-mode status.
I come from a place of fun- in any pvp scenario where theres multiple mages , aside from then nobody is having fun.
I also never said playing mage or caster in general is easy- quite the oposite but this spec has 0 weaknessess aside from assassin rogue even Ferals cant catch up on a frost mage- come on.
This philosophy of “take it and hope it goes away” is really backwards. Hope you dont use it outside.

DK has melee counters.
Fmage has none
dk doesnt struggle into melee, it’s one of the most tanky specs rn
All mage specs are consistently harassed by all hunter specs, even if u are r1 mage you lose to random 2400 hunter
Ele/rsham counters mages as well

Zero hardcasts. with broken damage
Infinite blinks
Perma broken snares
Roots
Disorients
Knockback
Stuns
Two blocks
Alter Time
etc. etc. etc.

Assassination Rogue solos Mages. Blizzard does not balance 1v1. Never did. Never will.
so hows that different from 2 death grips, abom limb, 2 horsies, a ranged stun, a perma 70% slow, insane damage, and super tanky

That being said, Frost Mage is by a large margin the most broken spec for PVP. It’s in a completely different and separate league than everyone else

Unholy DK/frost mage/ disc priest ( evoker Maybe) might be the new meta.
First is tanky melee with range interrupts and tons of grips.
Second is Master of CC with instant ability hitting for 1m+ dmg.

Frost mage is fine. Better cry about dks, locks, assa rogues so on. Especially dks are monkey tier, i haven’t met a single smart dk, seriously. I guess dk players have lowest average IQ among all classes. Dks need at least 50% damage nerf if their utilities gonna stay.
Frost mage random roots needs to be removed from the game
