that rubbish one shotted my Pala 582 in a 5 today. it’s not fixed its clear there are still problems. .
I agree with your second statement (The sheer number of spells to interrupt alone…), but the first one is a matter of realizing one’s limits, the people humble-bragging about “Completing tier 11 while they’re not amazing players” are the outliers.
is this your first day in the world? people won’t care about 'one’s limits, when they see groups destroying what was supposed to be fun content for solo players who have a grind in from of them.
I did some solo delves slogging through to tier 6. Then i did it with 2 friends which made it a tank, healer and dps composition and we by accident did up to 9. We only tried up to bountifull 8. But the difference is just immense between solo and a group. The amount of stops you have is just too much in comparison to solo.
Simple, Elitests complained it was too easy.
Lots of players here failing to understand how progression works in WoW.
Delves allow gearing through bountiful chests and Great Vault. It rewards crests. Over the coming months it should be possible to hit 615 -620 at which point causals will be able to do all the content because it’s undertuned by 10 ilvl.
I played in random 5-man against Zekvir.
- Interrupt
- Avoid stuff
- Kill adds
Win!
“Solo” does not equate to “casual” necessarily. Higher tiers are meant to be challenging, and will assume they get tweaked with higher scaling come each season.
That said, it’s still being tweaked currently.
Struggle, sure, but when he is literally slapping my blood dk for 2.5mil per slap something is mathematically screwed.
Blizzard only listens to their top streamers, who like hard and difficult combat. What was supposed to be casual content if you didn’t want to do M+, turned into a brutal and unfun experience with a bunch of hotfixes rushed to fruition without proper testing. These streamers and hardcore players will not be happy until the game turns into Dark Souls/Elden Ring.
Meanwhile I have nerve damage in my wrist and a shortened tendon. I really liked delves. Now I can’t enjoy them unless my friends come to my rescue.
Not to sound mean but you can easily solo t11 on a monk. I know because I did it. Was probably around 580 at the time. Just find a delve that works for you. Like fungal one. As long as there is no bad luck empowered group spawn, you will be golden. Also rarely had to use defensive cds to survive. Some enemies though need to be looked at, you are right there. Also, this was done post “delve fixes”
No they are not.
Casual is a person that does not play the same days/hours and does not play many hours. So its not about skill a player has, but more time availability.
If you have low “time availability” you have trouble participating in organized group content. Like M+ and Raids.
Therefore, Delves are catered to them.
That is not the “average person” you encounter in a dungeon. It is the average person you encounter in say… a M+2 dungeon… It is not your “average person” in a M+10.
And that is why Delves have levels from 1 to 11… 11 being for someone that is casual, or new to the game, but has the required skill level to pull it off.
why do you care what groups do when you are advocating playing solo ?
you will never meet those people if you solo them
Because it’s not solo content focused on the solo player its group content passed off as solo content. when you see groups clear something in hour of season release, it then gets nerfed to hell, with a knee jerk reaction, which is reversed.
It will take the majority take weeks to clear, it forces them again to feel like they should be grouping, it’s a tactic blizzard used with raiding and then M+. but it fails every time and people, will just leave again, look at the jump from 554 to get 567to do HC dungeons, best group yup in those delves quick if you want to do HC 'dungeons.
Blizzard either delivers on their solo friendly content or the ones who came back will leave again and they won’t come back.
Most of the playerbase could be summed by one quote.
BUT I WANT IT NOW !
Then do it with other people problem solved.
Only real problem with delves that i see is that some classes they are cake walk to do and with some classes you have to go slow and steady instead of trying to take them like you are playing diablo or soloing legacy content.
Maybe delves are there to make them learn this stuff
Did they change delves again? Teir 7 bosses have 45mil HP?
But that’s not what they advertised them as, they were advertised as a legit alternative progression path to HC raiding for dedicated solo players, which is why they drop high quality loot and offer the same rewards as HC from the vault.
They didn’t advertise them as chill, easy content for low skill players, there is no shortage of such content in the game.
That’s not what solo players want and there are far more solo players than raiders and M+.
If blizzard start pushing people back to group play many will leave, Dragonflight was a success because it moved away from raiding and M+ only rewards. it had more world content, and they expressed a push to solo content. Gaming habits have changed but blizzard it seems don’t want to change, so people will leave again and won’t come back.
