Armory update

How long does it take for armory to update collections(mounts and pets)? I have 1023 unique pets, but armory shows that I have only 807 of them, so it is quite outdated. The thing is, I want to gift some pets to my friend, but I am not sure if he has them or not. Is there another way to check his collection without asking him?

When I bought a store pet for a battlenet friend, I received a warning that she already had the pet I was trying to buy so I could select another one that she didn’t have to gift instead. If it’s store pets you want to gift, this could help?

No, they are not from BNet store, but thank you for the reply.

Mines updated with mounts I got last week. And i know raid and dungeon progress updates live.

So i think something else has gone wrong

I do not know, here are screenshots of my collection from site and from WoW.

It does not even update my current active pets.

Did you try to log out and back in? Usually it triggers an armory update. I know this works for new/changed characters on your list, no idea about the pets though.

Yes, I did a few times, even changed my forum character now.
I did check my oldest screenshot I saved, I got Surf Jelly mount from expeditions 24th March, it still not in the armory collection.

I currently play this character and her armory does update regularly, gear and level at least.

Do you run the game from the Bnet app and exit the game via the game menu? If you don’t (i.e. launch wow.exe or use the X to close the game) it does not update your armoury.

I do run the game from BNet app, not always, but oftentimes I close it with the “X”, does it affect armory that much?
Also, is this just my own armory problem then?

From what I recall, Yes. The Exit command in the game menu will exit and upload your last data regarding your gear etc to the armory.

Mine is fine, so I don’t think it’s a global thing.

I’d suggest you do the following.
Whilst the game is closed, Delete the CACHE folder from the World of Warcraft/Retail folder
Launch the game and log back in, stay online a few minutes whilst the Cache repopulates.
Exit the game via the in game menu, but leave the Bnet app running.
Check the armory after a short while and see if it has updated.

Ah, thank you, then my friend’s collection should be fine.
But how to fix my armory now though? I did exit normally a few times, it still the same.

I just edited in a suggestion, it may help.

Thank you

That is incorrect
