Yes it’s hard, however stunning DH during cast is easier and then we absolutely know the hunt will come again as soon as stun ends so can focus fully on waiting it to interrupt.
Trinket is definetely weak link, but first the hunt is completely handleable even if not interrupted perfectly. And then we’ll have 1:30 to kill one of them which is often enough. Sometimes we survive second the hunt aswell (depends on gear difference mostly).
Well, it just proves that skilled people learn to deal with it.
Well, in theory we have two trinkets so if we play in smart and coordinated way we can rotate them. For example, if healer is target - first uninterrupted hunt he trinkets and puts whatever defensives he has, second hunt I trinket and save healer from it, third hunt healer’s trinket ready again. If I am target it’s same but opposite. Problem will be only if DH manages to do too much dps outside the hunt so that we have to trinket and put defensives vs something else, it depends on DH’s gear and usually isn’t the case.
funny cuz most top players consider dh sustained damage the highest in the game, and from my experience the only time i can out damage a dh at the end of the match is when i could cleave more than i should (they were bad) lol.
Stunning the hunt can happen but even at high rating it’s less than 10% cases. We are not talking about 50/50 situation but around 5 casts per 100. If it happens more often then it’s your mistake.
Also in other topic I posted two of my yesterdays game with my DH friend on my R Druid. It was similar CR and MMR as you are on. I’m not a good R Druid and just play it for fun.
We beat these two teams one was War/R Druid and second was War/R Shaman. Just check how much more damage NF DH does than you.
That’s not how it goes, usually you set up a double cc on the ennemy and healer. Then you beam and you fake cast the hunt. Your target then has to trinket and cd, otherwise he will die from hunt+fel rush, but since you fake casted he did it for nothing and know he is without trinket and has one less defensive.
You are making some stupid theories without playing the hunt on your own just so you can find an excuse not to go Night Fae because of your sunk cost fallacy after spending (wasting) 1600 games for nothing.
You never played with the hunt, you don’t even know how it works. You can fake cast the hunt baiting enemy defenses, getting stunned during the cast does nothing because you will still keep the hunt (which is what I believe needs to be fixed, pressed hunt once - it should go on CD right away).
The only way to really stop the Hunt is stopping it after the cast itself, which a). Is basically impossible in melee range and b). Will not happen in your elo even if you use it at the biggest possible range so please I don’t need to hear any more of your fake scenarios that happen only in r1 player highlights and have nothing to do with your own league. Meanwhile the way to stop sinful brand is pressing one button with 8 sec cooldown.

Everyone started somewhere and at one moment of the game people can struggle versus X and can ask for help.
Remember that even rank 1 PvP player today have been once graveyard farmed when they started the game in PvP.

there is no problem with that but you are handicapping yourself and then coming to the forums and complain about everything else.
This doesnt work, at 1600 rating i am with my priest, warrior spear and does amounts of damage to both me and my partner. Or he stops tunneling and avoids this strategy at all. Also shaman casts the elemental and u ahve to kite it too or lose.
