Arms Warr PvP Opener / Rotation?

I understand warr is in a bad spot atm, but could someone please explain the current warr rotation (so to speak) with regards to pvp please, switched back from fury and my brains fried.
Thanks in advance

Charge > Hamstring > Die

Believe me I get it, we don’t gen any rage, we don’t have buff uptime, our runes are dog for pvp but seriously I just want an opener that can at least maximise my damage so I stand a chance at getting a kill lol

Rage Potion macroed with Bloodrage, Intercept (longer stun), Mortal Strike/Slam → hamstring (gcd should allow while enemy is still stunned) and WW if MS/Slam are on cd

All in Zerker Stance, leave charge to remove roots/novas

*don’t ask me about bshout/commanding shout, this is when you are rich with rage :stuck_out_tongue:

Charge, Hamstring and either die or get a Mortal strike in and THEN die 50/50 on the last one

Love it, thank you

  1. find 5+ enemies
  2. charge into them
  3. get focues by all enemies
  4. die
  5. complain you didn’t get any heals
  6. hit release

At least that’s what I see warriors doing in BGs.

And ofc here is Shivette, in yet another warrior thread, proving he hasn’t stepped in a single bg in sod!

Deny it all you want, but anyone who has actually done any pvp at all has seen the zug zuging warrior overextending deep into enemy lines  But to be fair it’s not just warriors doing it, it’s a general melee thing, warriors are just the worst offenders.

He is just glad he finally can clap warriors with his ench shaman, he doesnt care if warriors really undetuned, he just glad he can deal with trash class now and thinks it is skill

Not playing SOD, but i´d imagine duelling as a warrior is even less effective now with all that retail sht crammed into the game.
I would start with getting engineering before even thinking about a pvp “rotation”^^

your entire point of view about this class is from one video of submediocre warrior, meanwhile there are multiple topics about real issues like rage generation, survival runes and general underperformance of warriors in pvp, meanwhile other classes got equipped with godlike mechanics

your arrogance and ignorance is well matched with your lack of understanding the class itself, when you told us to use death wish in deep arms spec

stop trolling

No, it’s based on quite a few hours in BGs. I’m sure you’re great and all, but you can’t tell me a lot of your brown brothers don’t do exactly what I mentioned.

Straw man argumentation is typically a sign one has no real arguments

inb4 “but you said it!”
Link the post where I say that. Oh, can’t find it? Because it doesn’t exist :^)

You have time to use hamstring before you die?

You are talking too much in a thread about warr opener/rotation and how all warrs are idiots for charging in but still haven’t give us a proper advise mr “quite a few hours in bgs”. Tell us all-mighty r14 pvper with your 20yo experience (that you mentioned in other warr posts) what to do in a meta that basically more than half of the enemy team can shut us down from 30yards, even if we stay at the back line

Perhaps we can agree on the fact that you’re more likely to get targeted the closer to the middle of the enemy pack you are? If you’re in the back you’re less likely to get targeted, right? And please don’t tell me that casters are putting themselves in harms way to attack some warrior in the back. So what you should do then is to wait for other players to overextend and pick them off, instead of doing the overextending yourself.

Now I know this isn’t what the warrior pvp fantasy is, but it’s the same for every melee, and if focused any class will go down in a millisecond. With how bursty pvp currently is you have to be a bit more passive and wait for other people to make mistakes. In more organized pvp you can play more aggresively, but in pugs where you can’t expect any backup whatsoever you need to keep it in your pants a bit and forget all about Pat’s PVP video.

Once again mate… Once again… You prove that you haven’t even stepped close to the que npcs… If you think that this is enough to stay alive as a warr and you won’t lose to lasers, comets/volcanoes and random instant spells that hit for 800 non-crit, then you haven’t seen a single que pop in the last week

That happens to every class, not just warriors. Or do you somehow think that spells do less damage to every class that isn’t a warrior?

The other classes do what you suggested warrs to do too? Stay back and pick up someone while you right-click waiting to generate enough rage for a hamstring and a MS (that have of the times misses or gets dodged) ?
Also, I’m not sure chickens, sps and hunters or rogues get exactly that “happens to every class” treatment.

There’s plenty of people that charge in like absolute idiots, it’s not just warriors.

Are you saying they don’t get attacked or what? Rogues in particular tend to overextend in the hopes of getting an easy kill, only to get focused themselves and instantly die.
