As boring as expected

Sadly the most vocal ones too. Vocal minority also being responsible for the abominable female Worgen (cata model).

I loved Vanilla more than current WOW because of the changes over time that occurred to WOW (that made it less fun) but also because of the context that vanilla was played in.
Playing Classic just won’t bring that context back and I’m really puzzled as to why people were hyping themselves into a frenzy to play something they could have for years after release.

I guess when you take something away suddenly it becomes very desirable. The current situation in classic cannot be fun for the most part but I’m sure there are people out there enjoying it, but for me I think I’ll wait until all the unnecessary fuss dies down because at the moment it’s a case of sitting in one place waiting for 20 mins to kill one mob (that you need 20 of) because theres 100s of other people needing to do the same thing and many are afk. You have to look about you at this and wonder why we’re not mature enough to realize this is s**t.

I didn’t play BFA…lat expac I played was Legion…before that was a couple weeks in Cata…and before that… Vanilla. Even then, I only played Legion for like 2 or 3 months.

No, literally no one played couple days ago bfa because its boring.

I think you’ve issues dude

Learn to play.

They aren’t elitists but BfA people are bad.

Not noticing the irony is pure entertainment on their side.

You do realize how silly all this is, right?
Both games have their ups and downs, plus it’s also the same community, yet somehow there’s this ‘divide’ where Classic people suddenly feel superior. I do find it ridiculous to be fair.

I played in Classic, I continued playing retail and I will most likely try Classic out again for nostalgia. I sure as heck won’t call anyone out for playing either. Geesh…

Guess we have the problem laid down right there.

BFA babies infest this thread.

Kinda hilarious posting that on a lvl 120 and a HoA 57.

This kind of autistic people.

Because I want to actually play an MMORPG as in actually communicating with people while also having RPG elements instead of pulling the slot machine lever wondering if it’ll titanforge 25 levels, be socketed, have all the right perks and jerk me off as I afk everything because the game is so easy I barely need to interact with it.

So you’re saying that people in their 20s and leveling having “2 buttons” is somehow the same endgame retail?

Great argument!

Well, everyone is saying the leveling is the core of Classic, so yes, feels legit.

I know that but if the road to the end game is so tedious is it really worth it. I’m gonna bite trought the sour apple no matter what and hit 60 but ill see what i think after it.

actually i started playing on private server bc/wrath back i the day because i couldn’t afford that 15 euro. I joined real wow around cata so i think i have a better understanding about the game all around.

The quests in classic are just poorly designed wich is understandable since it was 2005 ish i just wish they tuned them better.

Even if that was true, you’re using the first few hours to cry about classic, which is utterly moronic.

Classic isn’t just about “leveling”, it’s more interactive because you’re required to work out how to do a lot of quests and read them rather than follow a dot on the map and 1 shot everything.

There’s still far more to Classic than that though.

The road to 60 is very engaging in Classic and endgame is just the stretched out last part of it. I mean its nice to do from a completist perspective of course and it ties up the ends.

But if you see 1-60 as “the road to endgame” you are missing the point and are probably playing the wrong game.

Retail is 10 levels of expansion introduction and two years of endgame. If that is what you seek in Classic you will be very dissapointed.

Even if what I said was true, I never took this on comparison.
I always took end-game retail versus end-game Classic.

I’ll add that I only compared pure gameplay fighting mechanics, and everthing else is out of topic. So are you.

But don’t worry you’re far to be the only one here who tried/did go off topic because he didn’t read.

I’ll add to your comment that it’s probably the main difference between people enjoy retail and people enjoying classic.

Most of us, people who enjoy retail, enjoy the fact that we use things we got in order to achieve something else. Being top-ladder on pvp, do mythic 15+ on time etc… We’re not here to grind for something, it’s a just tool for us to enjoy some kind of content.

Classist are in for the grinding part. They enjoy the fact of looking for something, not using it.

And to, that makes retail and classic two completely different philosophy, kind of opposite.

Saying one is better than the other, is just purely moronic. And that’s pretty much what I wanted to hear from the people who said classic was harder than retail.

Unfortunately, since the people who said that in first place are kind of moronic, that will never happen.
