Pressing Frostbolt for 3 hours while not standing in fire is truely peak gameplay and shows people back then where just better yeah.
Using more then 2 Braincells does not stop you from having a good time.
“In my time 20 years ago we got called bad so you should be called bad to.”
Again still can and is if you are social enough to find a Raid group.
There are 4 Different difficultys. 2 of them are piss easy, one is medium and one is Hard.
“Go play a completly different genre if you want a challange” the takes in this forum are truely amazing.
Because the entire point of the thread was commenting on people like you claiming that NORMAL is to hard so your mythic argument is completly invalid. Not only because its not the point of the thread but even if it where complaining that the hardest difficulty is to hard is just a clown move because why are you trying to clear the hardest difficulty if you think its to hard?
Honestly your entire post just vibrates and i hate to sound like a Teenager: Big boomer energy. You act like the game requires some insane skill these days and compare it to a state of where the hardest mechanics where “Don’t stand in front of the dragon” and “Don’t stand in fire.” all while pressing your 1-3 button rotation and still whiping cause somebody didnt get the memo that the dragon tail is just as bad of a place as the mouth. Even asmon would call you a classic andy if he would read this post because its so devoide of any logic of your comments in relation to what your commenting on that it almost looks like a troll post.
So you admit that you are bad and the only reason you manage to do anything is because you farm stats for so long that its numericly almost impossible to lose. I bet your the kind of rogue that only attacks when the enemie already has 3 Mobs on them and used all their cooldowns cause pressing anything more then backstab is to high of a mountain to climb.
So American boi cries the game is difficult. Give him free items on full item level like in PVP and uninstall because you became hero winner of the game.
I dont know how dense you are for saying 'Logging into a game to raid is to ‘raidlog’.
Wheneveryone and theyr mother who plays wow knows raid logging means something totally different and that term you speak of in that definition is made up
And whom are you to judge people whom login to raid anyway? Geniunely curious about that one. XD
Because most talents change your spell priorities. One example would be Nether portal, each time you spend soul shards you summon a demon. Ok sounds easy enough, get stacks on Demonic core and just keep repeating Demon bolt-> Hand of Gul’dan with the occasional Dread stalkers. But then you have Vile fiend and Felguard which are talents, so it becomes get stacks-> Felguard->Vile fiend->Hand->Demonbolt->Felguard->demonbolt->Hand… you get the picture. Later on we have Power syphon and Soulburn. And then it becomes Power syphon->Build 5 shards-> NP-> Soulburn->Felguard->Vilefiend->Hand->Demonbolt->Dreadstalkers->demonbolt->Hand->etc.
You see what I mean? With a few talent changes the ration for a single CD changes drastically. I am all for providing new players more ways to learn in game but I can’t see anyone making a tutorial on all the talent combinations. Also some people do enjoy figuring things out on their own without the game telling them how to do it.
That term of yours was made up during mop or legion. It has nothign to do with what raid logging actually means (The data collecting thats been there for decades. Even old dps meters like recount where a type of raid logging).
Heck, Even old pseudo MMO like Diablo 2 has raid logging.
And just because people log in for raids because they find nothing else to do because the game is lacking in content for them doesnt mean its bad for them. It means blizzard should start working on actual content.
Thats the issue with you.
You just go by word. You’re always calling me dense or what not but raidlogging (As in the actual data collection) has been a thing for games for 30 years. Its used in alot of scenario’s and the whole concept didnt even start with video games.
Speedrunners have done so since the first speedruns. They just didnt have the advanced tools they have now.
You’re using a made up term for people who log in to raid that was made up and spread around.
Of course! Most class specs have more advanced concepts that change around based on talents!
I wouldn’t expect blizzard to have some extensive simulation training for every single talent of every spec. But since they’ve bothered to make “started builds” why not provide the new players with some basic training around that? Like the fundamental toolkit per class.
I have the impression that these players aren’t the ones that complain about the game being hard!
Because in some cases that would be a waste of time. Like you spend 30 min on a tutorial/practice with the starter build, then you get more invested in your class and decide to look up a meta build and that meta build turns out to have a completely different playstyle than the starter build, leading to players feeling like they wasted 30 mins on something that isn’t actually useful.
Is the discrepancy so big to not warrant it? I mean I’m talking tutorial, not a master class!
You know like in most video games it takes like 5 minutes, “do this ability 3 times” kind of thing. In my head sounds like it should be better than nothing.
Either that or make it clear from the get go that if you want to get better at your class go find 3rd party information haha!
