Sure, but you can do that in Resurrected as well, so…
My point merely being that Blizzard are obviously going to smash sales records when Diablo II Resurrected is released and people will flock to play it like they do with all Blizzard titles. And especially between WoW and Diablo there is such a huge shared fanbase.
If all the remaster is was basically a graphics+sound overhaul, then sure it would be a safe buy. They may ruin core aspects of the game though, so it’s not something I would rush into personally.

A lot of people do not understand this but whether you like him or not, Asmongold is going to change the MMORPG landscape as we know it. Nobody cares if AnnieFuchsia or Bellular talk about FFXIV but as soon as Asmongold will start streaming FFXIV he will take his 100,000 viewers and take FFXIV to the very top of the Twitch stream stats.
The day that Asmongold streams FFXIV is the day that FFXIV will receive hundreds of thousands of new players, no, not his fans, but completely random people. There are a lot of people who don’t know who Asmongold is or what FFXIV is but when they see a new game at the top of Twitch they are gonna give it a try. Blizzard knows what I am talking about because they actually have an analytical brain unlike most of our highly intelligent forumers spamming these threads. Asmongold has more influence on the gaming industry than you realize. He is constantly in talks with gaming developers behind the scenes but just continue hating the dude who became a millionaire by the age of 30 by sitting on WoW while you guys are way older and spend most of your day hating on a forum.

No way I’m watching it, was hoping OP had done so for us. But we can hope yeah? So many microtransactions there he’ll have no end of people to spit on and might want to stay. Much enjoyable reading in this thread either way.

new generation players love microtransactions. they pref a boring game that they can pay to skip. xDD talk about big brain power. why not just quit a boring game and save alot of money. gosh

The thing is Asmon will never like FF14 , he has always sit on it and will not probably like the game , and he is afraid of streaming games outside of WOW
When he streams others games , he plays it for 1 days so 4/5 hours , and he never plays it again , because his viewers goes down
Asmon popularity is link to WOW too , he can’t leave the game without losing a lot , everyday he reacts to videos about WOW .

imagine if blizzard did the same with wow … the community would of ended up very different.
asmongold is trapped in wow basically… he will never appeal to the ff14 player base the same way he appeals to hardcore no lifers basement neckbeard types in wow.
He’s not “switching” he’s simply going to give it a try. You are kidding yourself if you think Asmon will last a week in FF14, maybe even less than a week.
He’ll try the game on stream, meme and dump on it to please the masses of degenerate emote spammers in his chat, then go right back to playing WoW.
I feel sorry for the FF14 players.
Not great getting those kind of people migrating over. A win for us though. 
I dunno, Asmon always talks on stream that he basically only plays WoW for raids and competitive pvp nowadays, and he’s always been an outspoken elitist, kind of the exact opposite of what final fantasy players are like.
Why?
I’ve never cared what he’s done, so why should I start now?
I don’t watch gaming streams; I’d rather play myself. I find watching someone else play a game an inane activity.
(the one exception I have is where I sometimes watch a playthrough of a story heavy game that appeals to me, but I will not play myself - like certain console exclusive games - it has to be a playthrough without commentary and such; just pure game) - I find Andy Gilleand on youtube does these type of playthroughs really well.
im not sure dude, farming mounts and recolor of mounts can only be so fun… i hope he quits wow, and i will join him =).
