Apparently, yep. Altho I can imagine there being plenty of sentences where the usage is perfectly innocent. And I assume if this one word is flagged, maybe some others are too. I’m curious, if so, what they are. I would love some clarification on it from Blizzard.

Ok i need to see what i say because i get banned almost every week, well first off wow players are easily offended believe me, blizzard is basicly creating a world for players who dont have a spine. Believe me wow players are the easiest people to offend. The most abismall words offends them. I wanna bet i offended alot of players by this respons.

So basically the A.I. in the chat filter has associated “I hope you” + “other negatively charged word” to be something similar to “hoping” someone or their loved ones meet an unkind fate ??!

The person in the story was mean but did not crossed any lines. It might as well had been an argument between first graders.
If one tries to sanitize all of the communication, people will be unable to develop some resistance to the really nasty stuff they will definitely encounter in their lives.
I have to agree with the part of chat censor not working for sure. I was trying to have a conversation with a guy, just casual, nothing really -can’t even remember what was about, standard in-game on the spot friendly conversation- the game blocked his message. I was like, ok this must be a reason so I let it go and stopped the conversation.
I had a weird feeling though that first few sentences was completely okay, no cussing trolling nothing, so WTF…
Definitely broken reading after the comments… Need to be turned off and only applied when someone specifically turn it on!

In my country your name would loosely translate to " I am super (insert expletive of choice) angry. Very common and acceptable way to express yourself. Almost always followed by roars of laughter and cheers.
