Attempted a GDKP

You can’t have read anything posted in this thread if you believe being outbid is the only issue a player in a GDKP might encounter.

I’ve read dozen of those “gdkp ruins my life” threads and I’m not going to read again wall of tears. You and rest of the whiny crowd want special loot system designed especially for you so you can enter pugs at any time, with any class, with any specs, at any ilvl, at any realm and raid has to go smoothly of course.

Nobody is forcing you. You refusing to read and also dismissing legitimate player concerns as crying, and instead post false narratives makes you look ignorant, though.

Why is being able to play a computer game when it fits your schedule a bad thing?

Systems such as EPGP and DKP can have custom rules that award performance if you want it to though. I don’t particularly think it’s a great idea, but you could :stuck_out_tongue:

I’d bet gold (see what I did there?) on you being a person who runs GDKPs.

You think 50k for an item in WotLK is too much ? Check Classic where ppl dump 150k gold for Neltharion’s Tear or 200k for Atiesh. Also prices for flasks and other stuff is completely off the charts. Who in his right mind will pay 900 gold for a Flask of Supreme Power ?

Noob question: How does one even get to have 200k gold, do I need to rob Kel’Thuzad’s vault or sell some land in Orgrimmar ? Bloody ridiculous. Oh and if you want to do a soft reserve raid, guess what: It’s hard reserved for our mate, our gigachad ArabianPrince or what ever friend of a friend of a cousin’s brother father nephew.

If Blizzard doesn’t lower the gold cap or make personal loot on every instance available then it’s gonna become even worse. Why ? Because human nature and greed.

This is the real problem. Those bans that matter just gets a slap on a wrist. if the punishment for gold buying would be the same as for gold selling, the RMT meta would disappear in a matter of weeks.
Minor punishment for gold buyers might not make sense at first, but thinking deeper its obvious. If RMT gets eradicated, blizz will lose majority of income from classic as well.
Don’t bite the hand that feeds you

Well, if they solved the botting problem early they wouldn’t need to add retail features to the game now to fix it. But then again, they want to prove that “you think you do, but you don’t” so this is all going according to their plan.

And protect gold sellers? No, they deserve to be shamed. Good one.
