Myea… there is a lot of ways to try and circumvent the problem, but at its base the classic AH just sucks compared to the retail version… I honestly think at least 99% of the playerbase would either not mind or be happy about it, if they were to implement retail AH system into classic, its just way superior in all aspects…

Retail AH sucks. It’s not an Auction House any longer, just a shop. There’s no way to bid even, and you can’t see who’s selling low level items to avoid known scammers.
I honestly didnt think anyone used the “bid” option. Maybe thats just me, but when i visit AH i usually need it now, dont have time to wait out the auction timer, only for it to be outbid by someone else.
Not sure i understand this, how can you get scammed on AH?
Dont take this the wrong way, but i really dont want blizzard to please the 1%. If 99% wants it, then blizz better implement it (just a scenario, i have no number on how many people want this)

You know the scammers, cheaters, ninjas, in short all the unpleasant ones, and don’t want to help them by buying what they sell.
Classic should be a slower, more casula game, bids make it that way and it is cheaper.
And furthermore this is the way an AH is sopposed to work. Without bid it is just a shop.

It does, if the vast majority of the playerbase want something. Blizzard should add it. And if blizzard adds something i dont like, ill just quit. For me its that simple anyway.

Ah, okay i understand what you mean. I dont know how many players there are on your server, but my recent scan on AH showed 258k units. The changes of me buying something of someone i encountered ninjaing a item is quite small. Besides, you should report them anyway (as if any action is done anyway:P)
How is a fast auction house less casual friendly? Sifting through tens of pages isnt exactly fun. You are ofc welcome to bid on the items if you want to make a cheaper deal.
The current AH actually lags, in what world is lag viewed as a pleasent gaming experience?

I never said remove bid, you can keep that. But i still dont want to spend 10 mins on ah, trying to get 1 item beacause the AH lags.

As I said. I just hope this “AH” interface will only be implemented in Cata. It’s so not Classic. And I am going to fight any and all changes. Because I still believe that #NoChanges is the only way to save Classic - I am not quitting, nor am I going to any P-servers. I am just going to stay in Era.
I play Classic because I DO NOT LIKE Retail, blast it, not to have Retail “UNQuality of Life” features stuffed down my throat here too. It was bad enough first time around.
