Come on guys, let’s stop with the paranoia and plot theories.
Reality is just they are probably swamped under the number of bugs that have been reported and need be solved + taking into account it must fit with what will be released next week.
And this is a message coming from someone that can’t play 8,3 since release since i’m on a mac and who could only do IE’s or farm AH (hence can only do IE now).
But the complaining and putting oil on this big brazier won’t help at all, nore incite them to communicate. They already know it went to sh
edit : even if as players we don’t like it at all, the first one to be pissed must be the developpers since they must re-do their work and are probably pulling long hours and tons of meetings with a lot of yelling

you can’t be serious. This is a bug causing people to lose millions of gold, completely breaking the in-game economy. And Blizzard has not said ANYTHING wether or not we will get our gold back. This isn’t just any bug, this is unacceptable.
I generally agree with you, it was just for giggles I mentioned the WoW token plot.
I still believe they need to inform better. As ealier wrote, it is almost 4 hours since we were promised a post under Breaking News about the issues with auction house - still we havent seen one.
And while we dont see one, people are still posting auctions meaning more incoming tickets, more forum post and so on.
Agreed, the non-information strategy going on is really really bad and needs to be adressed. People need to know what the hell is going on, if they are getting their gold from sold auctions, if they can post auctions etc.
Man. I’m not an expert in game design, but having worked in data, i presume they would save junks of data.
Since there is a sell, and bought items are sent to people that buy your items, there will be a trace of data somewhere and probably the amount that is sent to seller in a data row next to it. It’s just they won’t haste responding they can if for some reason it is hard to fix
It’s also putting alot of insecurity out there, people don’t know if they can post auctions or not, if they can buy items or not, if that 400k item you just bought will arrive in the mail or not. This is a FUNDAMENTALLY game breaking bug that needs to be adressed RIGHT NOW!
I second that.
Blizzard has always been bad with it since Warcraft 3 even. As a previous communication expert, I never understood how they could adopt this strategy since all experts know it makes things worse to let people speak and speculate for you.
But then again they are a multi billionnaire company and have means to have people train them on this principles.
So if they don’t, it must be a policy of some sort or cultural in this firm.

Dude, they are really working on it I think. Don’t know if you noticed but they actually put a breaking news box in the game to warn about this, while they didnt for the tons of other bugs.
So they are taking this pretty seriously
yeah, you are right, but we have one thing, it’s @what about informaining players about bugs and do some thing to close bug while they looking for good idea for hot fix? if a saw this anywhere! no one blue post about problem with AH. and when they knowed this problem, what i see? yea… AH working and no one blue post about what will be with gold from AH. Nothing personal but its… GJ

Doesn’t make any difference, though. Only VIABLE reply from Blizzard is that everyone will be fully compensated no matter what.

I’m not saying you’re wrong about complaining. What I’m implying is you can’t make judgements yet cause you don’t have the end of the story. All is pure speculation.
We can do the math after and they don’t need us writing it down to guess that this would end in a huge sheatstorm if they don’t fix it
