Its only on in intervals. If its blocked you wait a few minutes and then at some point the crates dissapear and any event left is way outside the city.
You can turn WM on, go to Goldshire, and kill anyone whos toggled WM on to avoid getting infected.

I just went into goldshire on horde and got turned, then i was able to join the rest of the pack. was pretty fun being able to do that without npcs attacking me for being horde
i helped cleaning out the inn

Will zombie buff last long enough ? Didn’t pay attention .
I mean if people didnt segregate content into pvp/pve the issue wouldnt exist to start with.
Pve players feel the same when blizzard forces them into different sorts of PvE.
like questing is pve and mythic raiding is pve and mythic+ is pve
but if u wanna be optimal you gotta play the game
