AV Change is unfair

This AV change is so unfair and makes AV amazingly boring.
Every fight is now a turtle fight and honorgain has been cut down with 10x cause of that… - This change also encourages AFK’ing in AV…

While people that started ranking in week one are now rank 10, the rest of us that started late now has to farm for double the ammount of time because of the newly implemented nerf…
We asked you to balance classes and you gave us a horrible nerf to the whole BG - Well played blizz. Once again you miss the mark completely

I have now played 10 games, and lost everyone but 1. This change apparently also changes Alliance win rate which was already worse than hordes.

I have been playing for 3-4 hours straight now and have won 2 games :slight_smile:

try premade , i didn’t win a single av in a week horde side without doing it in group.

or just do what ally always does , dualbox multiple hunt on the bridge for the free 100% winrate

Rank now is more difficult than yesterday with this changes, plp wants you more time playing and paying sub, because you need more time to take honor.

And Blackrock event is a big shet, plp doesnt want to fight.

Finally! I was waitting for this. I’ve never understood why someone roll PvP server, join PvP battleground and don’t want to play PvP.

Cry all you want. This is much closer to how AV used to be in Vanilla.
You actually had to play properly, do quests, get towers etc. It was meant to last long which is why the rep/honor rewards are so high to begin with.

Now people will join AV because they like it. if you want honor go grind the bre event.
As for rep, kill lieutenants, captain, players, return stuff, all give rep and the captain alone gives 125. Still generous.

I really hope they don’t fold under pressure and revert. A fun AV is what would keep me playing if I get bored with anything else in wow

Dont be delulu - nobody is here to have a “fun time”. People grind AV to get reputation and honor,

The whole standpoint of this post is that the changes Blizz has implemented aren’t fair.

  • People who have already done their 7-10 rank farm did it with advantages compared to now as Honor pr/h has fallen drasticly.
  • Horde has shorter run to access to bunkers/towers than alliance which is also an unfair advantage.

Regarding “cry all you want, This is much closer to original AV” . Just stop yourself. The game is not the same, neither are the playerbase.

This change is the logical thing to do. The devs forgot to adjust the stats to match the new SoD levels of damage. The 6 minute long AVs we have had are not the norm, they are a deviation, a result of an oversight by the devs. It was never meant to be like this.

The recent update is not really a change, more like a bug fix. But how good is it actually for players? That’s a different story.

Increasing the time to do something by 10x is not a good idea tho.

I am already r10 and did only a few AV games just for fun (spoiled by min-maxers insulting everyone not rushing boss). BRM pvp event is far more efficient way to gain honors.

Get a grip kids, enjoy the battleground as it was intended or go back to retail.

I hate when I have to play versus other players in a player versus player game.

I’d much rather press W for a couple minutes, then right click on another battleground and press W again.

You people need to play something else. WoW isn’t good for your mental health.

Maybe you should go back to DD? Isn’t it a tRuEvAnIlLa server that all classic andys can gather and highfive each other for the #noChanges fresh start? What happened? Is it so dead alrdy and you can’t have your 20yo repeatable and unchanged wet dream that you have to play the so-called (by the said andys) abomination of classic? Does it not have any big streamer to follow religiously or bring ppl to keep it alive?

The developers as usual don’t understand anything about the product they’re making.

Past racing AV was a bad game design for sure, but what the problem with the new change add more honor and reputation for completing AV activites?

Easy, they blatantly don’t understand the game and believe they are doing changes based on the community. Yet they keep missing their marks as if some drunken archer is shooting. PvE asks and gets, PvP is either never or later or worse. Changes completely backwards rather than PvP first.
Literally a failure of a company to give them less people apparently than the cata team, and cata is boring.
