Welcome to the club mate. Sad to say, but nothing will change… Alot of players enjoy
more the PvE grind then actually play PvP. I got to rank 9 and I’m burned out already. Started a rogue, just to enjoy the game again lol
Really isn’t AV that gives too much. It is WSG and AB that gives way too little when loosing. AV can still give you some honor if towers and bunkers are destroyed. While in for example a 3-0 loss in WSG gives you like nothing.
Before the ranking changes we could only queue for wsg and 3 out of 4 matches are against a premade with a almost untouchable druid jumping through fences.
AV isnt so bad, especially if 10 man actually defend .
I played for 2 hours last week, I made 50k honour.
500k sounds really easy. 20 hours of play is like… 2 hours in the evenings on Monday to Friday and just play 5 hours on Saturday and 5 hours on Sunday.
No % loot randomness, no competition, no team coordination needed, you can do it solo… Yeah. Rank 14 has become free T2.5 gear. Just incredible.
Problem is , as soon as WSG and AB become efficient for honor grinding, it’s filled with premade.
I’ve done 3 WSG today (and it’s not even “that efficient” , I mean it might be on par with AV for them atm since it’s WSG week) and I’ve faced 3 premades …
Gave up, and went back to AV.
It’s not fun to be match against a fully prepared team, with the perfect composition, 3 healers, a druid to carry the flag , every players loaded on consumes, when you’re just pugging.
Those 3 games reminded me why WSG and AB are both dead, it’s not only because of AV honor efficiency, it’s also because premades ruin the fun for both of these BGs.
It’s irrelevant. You should not compare to a part-time job or to any job.
A game is meant to be played on your free time.
So the correct comparison is to how much free time you have during the week.
You have the evenings free, and the weekends free (for most people).
In the evening most people are back home around 7pm and go sleep around midnight. So that’s 5 hours. You can easily fit 2 hours in it. Remember it doesn’t need to be 2 hours in a row, can be 1 hour, 3 hours break, then 1 hour again.
The weekend, assuming you wake up at 9:30 am and go sleep at midnight, you have 14.5 hours free. You can easily fit 5 hours in it. Can be 1 hour in the morning, 2 hours afternoon, and 2 hours in the evening (not necessarily in a row).
So there you go, it’s easy: it easily fits in your free time.
