AV multiboxing

I know multiboxing isn’t bannable, but follow command was disabled in BG’s for a reasons, I believe preventing this was one of them, but apparently still happens.

Keymap movement assists and attacks

Honestly dudes a moron… no lies on the multiboxing websites everynow and then someone comes and asks how to multibox BG’s and the response is always the same… you just don’t…
my honest guess is mouse broadcasting and click to move. What classes?

Can’t you just /assist maincharacter and click to move/interact with target?

But it is a very cluncky way to move in any case.

Nope, your main toon is not interactive… /assist will just take your main toons target… and interact with target with click to move enabled will only work on NPC vendors/quest givers/with dialogue options. Like you can’t interact with a random friendly Player. Some pets used be interactive and the mounts with vendors on them in retail but as far as a I know they broke them.

Yes, in 2013 - 8 years after Vanilla… Are you seriously using that as an argument, that something was changed 8 years after Vanilla so it should be changed in Classic?

You lose the av and now you posting a screenshot… this is name calling and not allowed!? troll

hardly suprising that he is losing… he is playing on alliance.

You don’t happen to have any link / recording of him moving about AV?

i dont but according to the chat, he was chain lightning people (obviously with the double crit exploit), one shotting groups of people in gy’s etc. And no, i didnt post this because i lost an AV. I lose enough AV’s and u dont see me posting about it. This is obviously some1 multiboxing in AV for an unfair advantage (in this case being 4-5 chain lightning crit coordinated at the same time, always) -

Well, I was asking because I was going to point out he Has to be indepently moving each toon one at a time or else found a way to circumvent the /follow removal. And I was wondering which he was doing because if he has found a way around the /follow it’s more than likely an exploit, for which he could be in trouble. Simply putting 5 people at a choke and spamming chain lightning while it is in itself a douche thing to do, it is within the rules of wow. I mean there is nothing stopping 5 players standing there doing the same thing. Like the suicide recall arcane explosion mages.

We’re not debating that. We’re wondering how the hell hes getting about and how people aren’t simply out maneuvering him. He’s literally 5 static turrets, he can’t even about face if some gets behind him!

Shamans will run to melee if you interact with target an enemy… where as mages/locks will run to max range and start wanding.

If he’s broadcasting WASD keys all the time it would be a cluster funk because there’s no way they’d be able to stay in sync. If they were even .5% of a degree off down in frost wolf, they wouldn’t even make it to the field of strife

It already has been changed. There is no follow in BG’s in classic… and they still got infested with Bots in AV which is what the follow removal was designed to combat in the first place

following wasn’t disabled because of bots. Do you actually believe bots need /follow in order to function? they really don’t

The blue post at the time stated that /follow was removed to deal with a bot problem, they were aware that it would also affect multiboxing but didn’t really care as multiboxing is allowed but not supported. And at the time the most common bot used used to /follow someone in the graveyard and drop off when you got into combat to avoid being flagged as afk

Bots never use /follow in bgs though.

They did before it was removed. They were scripted to /follow anyone friendly into combat, because they used to get flagged inactive from pvp, and if you got flagged you got kicked after I can’t remember how long. I don’t even know if that still is a thing in retail. It’s been that long.

It was the argument per se I was arguing against.

That something that was changed 8 years after Vanilla is in anyway relevant for Classic.

Multiboxing is not pay to win.
Oh wait…

Why does it matter what label people use for this phenomena that has always been part of this game (and specifically allowed) since launch to this day?
