AV situation is unplayable as alliance

73 losses our of 73 games.

Writing a ticket every 10th game. Quest is bugged as it is not doable.

I dont get why blizzard just dont reverse the map?
So we get horde side, and vice versa.
Then we can once and for all close the debate on wether or not the map is unbalanced.

Quest isn’t bug. Quest requires a win, if it isn’t completed on a loss. That’s not a bug.

It is 100% an Alliance attitude problem. The only AV games I ever lose is against Russian servers and not because they are so much better but because they don’t give up and keep pushing to win. They use the right tactics and don’t go crying at AFK Hill of Shame. I would say against Russian servers my win rate is pretty much 50/50.

I think the fact that you have a 50% winrate against Russian Alliance (who are premading) says just about everything that needs to be said about AV map balance.

No it’s not, look at alterac 1st gy : Only one way out, easy to corner alliance respawn.

Horde 1st gy : 2 ways out, one toward your flag to def. The other giantic one that allow you to switch to offence and/or backstab alliance push.

And i’m not even talking about alliance 1st tower being totaly useless and protecting nothing (while horde 1st tower cover the entry to your gy).

Stop beliving horde player are some kind of amazing player. All you did was min-max your pvp racial.

What is you opinion the best tactic alliance to beat the AV?

Bring 25+ men to IBGY with the initial charge and somehow survive the onslaught for 5 min. From there the game is kind of out of the stalemate.

Otherwise winning is nearly impossible for alliance - when you look at the map you will notice the horde cave is right next to both FW and IB GY, making the advance for alliance nearly impossible as you face a constant stream of defenders ressing 20 at a time.

The map bias is beyond obvious and should be clear to all nearly one year after release.

Anyone claiming horde wins 90%+ of the game because “horde stronk” is a laughing stock

Do you realise that FWGY is closest of the middle point of the map and so has most control over the map and you think skipping it is a good idea? explain me how if you will, and by the way you are not even the one this question was asked

Skip wut?

Anyway in simple terms:

  • both horde gys are easily defended vs only sp gy can be easily defended ally side

  • sh gy is easy to cap and defend coming from south vs ibgy being hard to cap and defend coming from north

This results in an extremely trivial fight for the horde that literally only has to push W to win kekw.
