Back from a break! Need Advice on an RP Guild!

Hey ho! Just coming back from a long gap away from WoW. I’m sure you can all guess why! And I’m looking to get into RP again, ideally joining a guild!

Character is a troll of deliberately mysterious origin, who is a somewhat non-specific “Dark Magic” trickster type who worships Bwonsamdi (if the fact that my mog is a Baron Samedi cosplay didn’t give that away).

Any suggests to throw my way would be appreciated!

Whelp for Trolls;

We have the Painted Shields, Hand of Zul, The First Empire and those written down by Takkihira! :smiley:

Edit: Added more Guilds!

Troll RP occupies a particular niche where you can be pro-Horde or a neutral character. If you want to be from a neutral tribe and outside of the Horde, you have…

Shadow of the Empires

Hand of Zul

The former is more militaristic than the latter. There’s also a Sandfury guild, if you might be interested in that.

Otherwise, I believe the ones suggested will probably work. Painted Shields is a military guild with both Darkspear and Zandalari.

This is a little narrowly focused, but I would need to know more about your character (and the Horde RP scene) to say a lot more.

I’ll have a look into those suggestions. TO be more specific and more helpful to the folk trying to be helpful! Zo’zun is essentially intended to be a mystical trickster type character. Able to protect himself but not a powerhouse in direct combat. More a kind of shady fast-talking type who knows a fair bit of magic.

Edit: Beyond that I don’t have too many details set in stone about Zo’zun on purpose. I prefer to like, keep my characters kinda vague until I get them properly involved in RP so I can feel them out and kinda shape them to better fit into the situation I find them in, rather than fully fleshing them out first and then trying to awkwardly jam them into a situation they don’t necessarily work in.

If you lean towards more the shady/trickster side and not the troll one, I’d say give some of the “mixed race” guilds a chance. I’d suggest the Coppersail Corsairs as a potential.

I cannot let this slide without recommending the Tusk of Redemption who are a Zandalari fleet guild but take in criminals, bad guys and civilians for a chance at redemption or showing their loyalty to the crown. Lovely troll guild, takes in trolls of all backgrounds and also lovely people
