Silvermoon first of course, can’t have Mr Theron try to flee with his race at the first sign of hardship…Again.
sure why not.
Patch is now live in the EU. Just sold Baine out to Sylvanas and made serveral screenshots of it. Feels good.
Now that Alliance Sethrak are (thankfully) dead and buried, I think we are looking at a sneak-peak for the new Alliance allied race in this cinematic. All aboard the Redeemed train!
I love the cinematic. Jaina is just amazing ^^ I am really scared for Baine
Hope He dies. Very slowly. And very painful.
Wow the hate on these forums has taken a drastic Turn🤔.
And did people seriously just not read my whole Post?
Now 8.2 will be interesting.
But 8.2.5 will be the more exciting as we learn the fate of Baine there likely.
If it is your headcanon, then it is worthless. Everything else you said has no meaning.
Then she is a moron and a liar. If you start a war for the sake of accomplishing a specific outcome, and then pull back on your Word, you made a pointless campaign and risk alienating your allies.
This is something you made up.
Stop being to dishonest. That is not an opinion. She literally said she did not predict Teldrassil being burned. She never planned to burn Teldrassil. It is clearly written in a Good War that she did not plan for anything in case Malfurion suvived. That is not an opinion. Rather than actually prove me wrong, you pretend that this is somehow my subjective interpretation of the events. It is dishonest and pathetic.
You do realize the Alliance could easily have gone on to SIlvermoon anyway, right?
In the relevant quote she literally says they have the fleet’s aid. You are so ignorant of the game it is hilarious that you are trying to argue agaisnt me. Also, there is no indication Rastakhan had any intention of pulling back ont he deal. This is your headcanon again.
Now, think all of them combined. Cenarius in Ashenvale. The Kirin Tor. The Argent Crusade. All of them on the side of the Alliance. The Horde would not stand a chance.
Not amazing how you failed to prove anything I said false. Because such behaviour is to be expected of you. Even if what you said were true, you are not intellecually capable of proving so.
Just BF avatars being BF avatars.
Wah! Blizzard is giving the Alliance attention for once! Wah! Giving both factions Equal time in the spotlight for once is clearly favoritism!
Sylvanas dumb plan would havenever worked out, as proven by Jaina’s reaction. Baine did the right thing.
The only one that deserves a slow death for now is Sylvanas, as she turned into something poopy.
At least everyone else has something more to show than emo phase.
She is a cool character overall, but rn she is doomed.
Absolutely ridiculous story development; we were given choices to either support Sylvanas or not which seems to become pointless with this update.
If I had a choice on my character right now, I would have slayed Baine for his support of rebellion.
Once again, totally mediocre writing on the horde part.
The Cinematic was very nice. Even if I’m not all too happy about the whole narrative, I have to admit that it was very enjoyable.
It doesn’t bring up anything new tho…
- Baine is still baining
- Jaina is still trying to figure out whether she should wear the blue dress or the purple dress (maybe even red after some weeks).
All up for it, as long as we don’t get the horrible mess that they call “reworked forsaken models”

Please dont explain me what is headcannon and instead if you want a healthy arguement answer to my question, what do you call Sylvanas giving a kill to Saurfang after he showed doubt in his own actions without being biased.
Securing Kalimdor and honestly if you think Sylvanas is a morally good or honorable character you’ve been playing a wrong game all this time. She is doing what she always have been nothing new. She is schemer and self centered and will rule the Horde with iron fist, not like Thrall or Anduin.
Following the [War with Burning Legion] Alliance and Horde’s navies were diminished. With both factions debilitated in their ability to reinforce Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms, the Horde came up with a plan to secure Kalimdor and elicit a political crisis in the Alliance that would lead to its downfall.

Im not sure were but she mentions she intends to secure Kalimdor for Horde, as two continents will be seperated by sea there will be no reason to fight. I think its in BtS. Or good War.
Now mad much?
Ok just to give you another source and be done with this insults:
A dozen different explanations rushed through his mind. They all died quickly. There were no sails on the horizon. A couple of kaldorei ships were frantically moving away from the World Tree as burning branches rained down upon them. Even the captured ships were awkwardly steering out of the way.
They had not expected this.
Nobody had.
What about Sylvanas?
That thought struck Saurfang cold.
Was this her plan all along?
No. It couldn’t have been. She’d had a strategy in mind. Conquering the World Tree—taking it intact—would have been a brilliant move. Destroying it was . . .
. . . madness .
This is from Saurfangs head
“They will come for us now. All of them!” he said.
“I know.” She was calm, as though nothing were wrong. “They will attack the Undercity in retaliation. You will need to plan our defenses. Begin evacuating my people.”
He struggled to form words. Finally, pure hatred made him spit out a condemnation. “You have damned the Horde for a thousand generations. All of us. And for what? For what ?”
Her expression didn’t waver. “This was your battle. Your strategy. And your failure. Darnassus was never the prize. It was a wedge that would split the Alliance apart. It was the weapon that would destroy hope. And you, my master strategist, gave that up to spare an enemy you defeated. I have taken it back.
When they come for us, they will do so in pain, not in glory. That may be our only chance at victory now.”
He wanted to kill her. He wanted to declare mak’gora and spill her blood in front of Horde and Alliance alike.
But she was right.
A wound that can never heal. That had always been the plan. And Saurfang had failed to inflict it.
And this is the plan. She never showed uncertainty. I hope this clears up things for you.
Sigh… The Horde, I meant the Horde would have been stuck…
On that I admit I was mistaken, I mixed the patches, and also never said Rastakhan would pull out the armies, I said Rastakhan was much untrustworthy to Horde then Talanji. I dont think thats an over statement. Point being Alliance raiding the city to kill a King who was much harder for Horde to work with, just to be replaced by Horde loving daughter of his. I personally do not see the point here. Sure detonated all the ships… that could have been done it one quest.
Her being a moron. And if you know what headcanon is, stop using it.
By the fact that you are arguing dishonestly?
She literally says she did not predict the putcome. She only did it after having her conversation with Delaryn, before which she still intended to invade. She only did it in response tot the unexpected actiosn of Saurfang. She configured the entire plan after learning of Malfurion’s survival. The fact that she failed in her plan and made some excuses for it, does not make it a contingency plan. You have no evidence she planned to burn Teldrassil in case Malfurion survived. You have not provided a single citation she planned it all along.
Whose fault is that again? The woman who burned all their hostages?
Again, being biased. You cannot name it so you are attacking me on my “headcannon”, I told you what it was, you cannot, judge yourself.
I gave you sources to back up my arguements and where I cannot, I admit to you so. Whilst you throwing insults at me.
Again, Sarfangs fault.
^ I dont know it this gets any more literal…
Not true, Ive just linked you chapter from Good War that spells out for you that Teldrassil was not the plan, but you still go on same path.
Here:
And Burning was excellent come up plan! Cruel it was but it was due to Saurfang could not uphold his own word in HIS own battle.
What does it has to do with what were were arguing here. I thought your idea was being discussed not Sylvanas actions.
Just turned Baine in, now to wait until tomorrow to see his punishment.
One thing I noticed is that you have the option to side with Baine even if you sided with Sylvanas previously but according to others you can’t side with Sylvanas if you previously sided with Saurfang.
Blizzard really don’t want us to pick the banshee queen, do they?
Still, it makes sense that she wouldn’t trust someone who went against her previously.
I have the feeling that this might be some kind of social experiment…
Maybe they are collecting data on how the players react to certain characters and situations, so they can center the future story around the most picked choice.
