Can someone please tell me if its just me or is balance druids just WAY over powered - In the one I was just in we ofc lost because they had more druids.
They 3 times the amount of damage than any other class. In a WSG.
It is so insanely over powered.
One of the two druids did more damage than all 4 healers in the bg healed…
if you were a good dps or a goood healer you’d know 30-60 mil dmg is pretty common among good dmg dealers and 30-75 mil healing among good healers so if you 4 healers suck ofc they cant heal it
and btw pretty sure it was me and bjornli who farmed you xddd
Man, I don’t wanna be that guy - but i’ll be that guy. You’re an unrated, 0% winrate in RBGs boomkin who has also never done any arena - and you’re doing 30-60 million damage and saying its common for you to do so and you’re farming people.
You don’t see the problem there? How 2 months ago you were getting farmed, now all of a sudden you’re a ‘good dps’? You don’t see anything unusual about that?
dont really know what to say, i know this damage is common can link screenshots and im not even a good boomkin or a rated one
maybe you just play with people with less optimized dps rotations?
and for your info boomies were doing 30+ million easy in 10.0 aswell in bgs patch only made it easier with astral generation and people have way more hp → buff to dot classes
You overstimate arenas-rated PvP. There are more ways to learn to use your character. On my opinion, duels are one of the best way to learn to play and how to fight every class.
The funny thing about rated pvp is that a high % of people change their class each season to always play with the meta, and then you have the last patch where a lot of people who had not achieved anything in arenas, was able to get in 2 days 2400 with a ret.
Not really. Is it possible to be good at the game outside of arena? Are you more likely to be a good player by playing arena/RBGs? absolutely. Its kinda like how rarely a street fighter will be good, but even just a few months of MMA training will put you above 99% of people that will ever street fight.
Or to put it another way, no BG-only player is walking into arena/RBGs and doing well, but every arena player above 1600 or so will walk into random BGs and be better than 90% of the people they encounter.
well theres probably a good chance they bought a boost for it if they were making obvious mistakes, but dueling is a bit of a joke and always has been. last patch i went to durotar and it was just 15 ret paladins running around dueling people who were 2000 rating higher than them, but crushing them anyway while keyboard turning.
i can comfortably beat wizards significantly better than me by just holding W on my warrior in a duel. Its extremely rare that any matchup is fair in duels.
yeah but this doesn’t mean anything though. you can’t just discard every player 1800-3500 because maybe 5% of them bought boosts or FOTM’d to literally the strongest iteration of a spec the game has ever seen.
If someone is on a gladiator drake, theres an 90%+ chance that they got it legitimately - and even if they did play an easy comp like ret/war/X, they still had to be good enough to get 2400 as it +50 wins above 2400, making them automatically better than 99% of the playerbase at PvP.
But to the original point - yes it is easy to carry in 10 man BGs as a solo player
m8 there is no stats on % of dragons boosted. you’re just going to have to assume that the average dragon owner isn’t someone who dropped a clean £2000 or whatever it is to get a mount.
or are you basing this hypothesis on the gladiators you queue with in a premade?
Anyway, when you queue for random BG, it’s rare that you only get 10 person bgs, where I agree with you: it’s easier to carry than AB or deeping wind gorge.
But I would really like you to show me how you win 21 out of 25 Bgs as dps without premade.
from memory he said he dodged 2 bgs, queued 1 with a viewer and theres a decent chance 1-4 of those wins had a premade on his own team by chance.
When you view it that way and you count leaves as losses and ignore the duo queue one, it ends up being 20 wins, 6 losses - then if you assume he had a premade of his own by pure chance for 1-4 of those bgs and ignore those, it ends up as 16-6.
He was hyperbolising but yeah even then it isn’t that unusual for a good player to have a 80%+ winrate in a day.
Like for example here is a character I used to play, entirely solo, as WW, and would maul people on it:
