Title says it all. Just like in hc, make boosting impossible. This way the world will be more alive, inflation wont happen so quickly and mages wont over-dominate the markets.
mages will still be able to dominate open world farming tho i.e hearthglen
Pst, Boosting was also a thing in vanilla.
No it wasnât. There was a time when you didnât get much exp if you were in a group with someone much higher level. You could see the difference even if someone was like 5 levels higher than the rest of your group. And thatâs the way it should be this time around as well.
Classic just happens to replicate the last patch of Vanilla when the game was already in a catch-up mode and preparing for TBC. Lots of things were made easier and less time consuming in this patch.
Classic /= Vanilla.
Edit: Boosting was a thing in a sense of helping someone to get gear from dungeons. Someone killed the mobs and bosses and you got the gear but very little exp if even that.
I agree, if you ban GDKP. Then go all the way and kill the xp rate when a lvl 60 is in the dungeon.
The world will be alive because it only runs for 14-15 month until people move to TBC.
This is not era with boring raid logging for 5 years.
i dont know a single sane person who is making the same mistake they did in 2021 and going to outland again. objectively the worst âexpansionâ in wow history followed by the bland heroic aoe dungeon grind that is wotlk. id rather retail followed by mop followed by cata classic.
Evryone has different opinions about that. I liked TBC. Just want to know if this going to be the TBC ERA realm. Only then I will invest. I donât give a crap about FrEsH.
Besides it was only a mistake if you did not make a clone.
TBC is the best expansion for me, Vanilla 60 content isnât interesting and replayable enough after playing it for couple weeks. Level 70 content , heroics and tokens offer so much more possibilities than just raid logging. And it has more PvP options.
Since 2021 I got my confirmation that TBC is the better classic for me.
It was
I have done boosting and got boosted alot in vanilla, especially for wsg twinks
Imo, they should ban classic streaming, streaming thatâs anti classic vanilla
Yep it was⊠I can remember boosting my Hunter through DM, Stockades, SM using my friends Account.
Tho it wasnât boosting like its now 7-8min run, it was more like 30min per instance
But still alot faster then normal questing lol. Atleast i got all my quests from dungeons done haha
People who want to level characters faster will always find a way to do it. If blizzard ban mage boosting - people will boost characters with mob tagging (just like now, some guildes doing it on hc - high level warrior with the healer pulling large packs of mobs, then low level damage them with engi bombs and get xp) - but it will be much more popular here then on hc, because ofc more people are doing vanilla fresh just for raiding and want to skip all grind, this type of âboostâ will be much more toxic for normal players in case of they ban dungeon boosting (because boosting groups will pull your quest mobs). So if they ban dungeon boosting, they should also do something with mob tagging - but in current iteration of this boost developed on hc (when warrior pulling mobs but not damage it) - i dont see the way how they can fix it.
I agree, banning gdkp was a solid move, but they should go all the way and ban boosting too
I would go one step further and beg for them to not implement the wow token but that one will be present for sure, unfortunately
Boosting your pals from the guild through a couple of SM runs is fine, having an army of bots to spam advertise in trade chat, facilitate summons and level new mages is crossing the line
Correct. Grouping with a character five+ levels higher than yourself resulted in significantly reduced XP, which was only changed in the final patch as a catch-up mechanic.
âBoostingâ in vanilla meant something entirely different to what it means today - it meant having a L60 run your lowbie alt through a low level dungeon so as to allow you to complete any quests, and get gear from bosses.
