Ban multiboxers in bgs

disable /follow in instances aswell get rid of leeches

Follow is already disabled in PVP instances.

I don’t really think MBers needs to be banned as they are already severely hampered since they can’t play with either soft or hardware assistance nowadays.

ppl still use it to afk in raids and dungeons.

They are still queuing multiple chars and AV being AV allows them to basically do nothing just using autorun and steering chars a bit

Yes, that is literally it’s purpose. To stay with a moving group when you need to afk. You know, like a functioning human being. If you disable /follow to combat “multibox and leechers” you also impact a much larger demographic of normal players who use it as intended.

But using Votekick is so hard, it´s much easier to make a forum thread and complain.

Queue as a group, and then you have more power to kick people that are technically not breaking any rules, istead of campaigning for punishing the majority just because you once again found another minority to have a problem with and single out.

there is no votekick in classic and av premades are disabled

the main use case is just for multiboxing, not the occasional person going afk in the middle of a raid or dungeon. basically no other game has a feature like this, it’s not needed. if anything xp, loot and honor gain should be disabled when /follow leeching

Lol what a ridiculous statement. Of course it’s the other way around, self-evidenly.

You don’t need it I guess, for me it’s one of the core features of WoW UI, I even have it key bound.

That’s right, punish normal players excessively to combat the small minority of abusers. Not gonna lie, that would be perfectly on brand for Blizzard.

Haha, such a clown

I honestly did not notice that it was a classic thread. My apologies for the misunderstanding, my bad :beers:

How are normal players being punished for not being able to be boosted when afk? it’s disrespectful to go afk making people either wait for you or carry on without you. Either scenario you should be ineligible for rewards until you return, this would also be good for boosting as it would require players to not tab out etc. Why do you find it so dreadful to actually have to play the game?

I don’t find it dreadful, in fact, I don’t even disagree with you in principle, but as a gamer dad who constantly gets distracted by my wife and kids I just enjoy the convenience of typing “afk 30 sec kids”, hitching a ride on a nearby rube and then being afk for 5 min doing whatever my family needs
