From my experience low RIO + high ilvl has never capped me from being invited into high keys, rather, high RIO + low ilvl gets you a fast pass into keys you might not have been invited into otherwise.
I’ve literally never heard of a good group not inviting low RIO players for low keys. Usually a single solid player can do most of the work in low keys so the dungeons you’re queuing into who aren’t accepting you are the ones who needs you to pull more than your weight most of the time.
Also you can click on someone’s armory and see the highest key for each of their dungeons and the time they completed it in. The only extra thing that RIO does is convert that time and difficulty level into a number, that’s literally it.
Yes you are, since I’m not against transparency I’m against a 3rd party program collecting data and no all that information aint there without the program you cannot find all those numbers on the armory or anywhere else.
Transparency and collecting data is two very different things. I doubt you want people to collect data on you even if you consider yourself a transparent person.
Then do M0s? Or go look for WoW friends through Discord or guilds or forums or something? No one’s forcing you to run keys if you don’t want to. I know plenty of heroic and some mythic raiders who barely bother with M+, and it’s not like dungeons used to be vital for gear anyway, so just find a levelling buddy to play with.
Sounds more like an issue with M0s being too easy and short than it is an issue of M+ not letting you socialise.
Actually I do , and at least with gearscore you wouldnt be declined in every single group because you couldnt do a timed for a specific dungeon so you couldnt get the score from it
Get your facts straight. Blizzard publishes the data to the API meaning the numbers are freely available to anyone who cares to look. It just takes a little effort.
Also, they aren’t collecting data on “me” but my ingame character.
If I were applying to a cricket club they’d want to know how many runs I’ve scored, wickets taken and dropped catches and so on. Same with a football team. Yet somehow when it comes to wow, all the information is meant to be super sekrit so characters can never have the pain of being rejected.
What a joke these “ban rio” posts and supporters are. It’s just a ridiculous premise and it will never happen.
I never pretented to be one , I prefer to have an alt of each class at max level and have the full experience so I dont have the time to farm IO , so no matter how decent I am at those classes , I will be unable to get a +15 (at least on dps chars) because of IO, which by itself is already a problem.
Gearscore shows how strong your character is. With the same ilvl, if your RIO score is lower than the equivalent in GS, then that just means you’re below average when it comes to M+.
You get a higher RIO score by doing more dungeons and being better at them, just as you get a higher PvP rating by doing more PvP and getting better at them, or better logs by raiding more and being better at raiding. Seems like a fair system to me.
So you want some guy who grinds PvP or worse yet, wait for their guild to carry them through the 2 bosses in mythic that they manage to kill for gear to get accepted into +22s and then proceed to chain die and waste everybody’s time and deplete the key?
If your main thing in WoW is to grind alts to max level and “have the full experience” then don’t blame players who specialise in dungeons for trying to have their idea of a “full experience”.
Why are you trying to make content that’s barely relevant to you pander completely towards you instead of to the people who actively partake in that type of content?
Thats simply not true. Theres plenty of decent communities out there and you can make friends. I’ve helped plenty of friends with the +15 achievement.
If you prefer to do it all then don’t moan that you can’t achieve something in a very specific area of the game like timing all +15’s.
This (in my eyes) boils down to entitlement. Other people had to make friends or put themselves out there and join communities. But the (lets call them entitled) people just blame the addon of the month for their failings.
I have tried those communities and they are completely barren , there’s a thousand member in them but they’re completely dead. A message or two per day that gets left unanswered and thats pretty much it
