There has been an update if you noticed, I guess this is gonna make those with multiple retail wow accounts be eligible to multiple wow classic accounts. on the same battle.net acount.
Not exactly. There are no retail accounts and classic account, the account is shared between both versions of the game, this is so people cant log on at the same time in both Classic and Retail.
Back when Classic demo was available in the account list there were one Classic Demo account per every retail account and it had the same limitation, you couldnt log at the same time in Classic Demo and Retail with the same account. But anyone who have multiple accounts had access to the Demo with all their accounts, at are able to log in at the same time one time per account.
Keep in mind multiple accounts requires to pay multiple subscription, so anyone who have today multiple accounts should be able to do the same in Classic, becasue paying one subscription allows you to play in both Classic and Retail with the same account, so paying 2, 3 or more subscriptions allows you to play with 2, 3 or more account in Classic and Retail.
