This mode is insanely fun… when my team isnt a bunch of 200 rating people who never pvped in their whole life, why are they on my team when im sitting at 1700 ? there is no benefit to this, even if I win with these bots I gain 8 rating from it, why would I bother trying for 8 rating at 1700 rating. Stop matchmaking me with people 1400 rating bellow me who refuse to communicate or play for any objectives at all, I dont want to play with them.

Could always queue rated BG with a 10-man if you’re not happy with the players you’re pooled with.
Or make a healer and duo queue with a solid DPS!

Flag stacks needs to be nerfed to the original length and the new version only apply to tanks/healers. Or the movement component removed from dps carriers its way too punishing.
also put a rogue limit in blitz so only 1 rogue on each team or none. Its way too overpowered even if they nerfed it alot.
Queue also put multiple duos vs a team with none this need to be fixed.

I tried that actually. Multiple Times. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find 10 dependable people, of whom all are actually have to be there when the Games are supposed to start?
It is usually one ore more that tells you 5 minutes before start that they can’t or they do not say anything and just don’t show up.
I was so excited for soloshuffle RBG but it is absolutely unbalanced and a soulcrushing sheetshow. I am really thinking about unsubbing again… its that bad.

either an IQ test or let them get rating in arena first to know wth they arre doing… its dramatic… so many join and dont even know wtf they are doing… Elemental shamans outhealing , Resto druids , me ( a feral druid) ) topping dmg in groups fights, while we whave affliction locks, boomy’s , a whole lot of casters that can easily do waaaay more dmg in group battles… its a joke at this point… they need to let people get 1.5 in arena first before allowing into blitz…

Well if you think damage is what wins you a blitz maybe youre the one who doesnt know how to play.
No, forcing people to play arenas defeats the purpose and ita a terrible idea as it does not guarantee that you know how to play the specific map.
I have winning games with our team was outdamaged, just because we played it properly.

Bro why are you dooming? It happens what 1 out of 20 games? Usually the matchmaking works fine. At 1700 youre generally gonna be mostly with people of your same level, at least for that bracket. If you want even better players, just keep going up. And it’s not like until 1600 the individual rating matters or means anything because you cant lose match making and also every win grants you like 200 rating. So you could have people with 300 rating who are amazing and people with 1600 who are trash. From 1600 rating starts working better with small loseses for losing and small winning for wins.
Its a team effort so try not to get frustrated you alone cant carry the whole team so you can’t always win. But its definitely a minority of times when you get with very low ranks.
Sometimes all it takes its remind on the chat what the objectives are and how best achieve them and all of a sudden you see your team starts to perform well (usually too late but hey).
Its also a new game mode. Lots of people who have played little pvp before getting in for the first time. I think this problem will be smoother onces most people get the ropes of the different maps etc.
dude, I cant move past my rating because the game keeps matchmaking me with people who are 400 rating bellow me, so even if I manage to win, it gives me like +5 rating, but if I lose its back to -13, how is that fun ? like its somehow my fault that I get people on my team who obviously shouldnt be here, the whole day I am trying to call out everything for these people, but they never listen, these bots just go on mid and fight the whole game without ever looking at the map or even thinking about objectives, no it doesnt happen 1 out of 20 games, its literally every single game where people dont know how to play their class or never did a BG in their life, how can I push rating if I win 1 out of 5 games cus of these creatures ? The MMR system is obviously not designed right, it needs to change or this game mode is dead.

Simple fix cant queue if you are not at least honor lvl100.
So we can avoid these dung players.

I’ve played about 12 games and idk how many last season, so far i have noticed people don’t understand how the BG’s work.
In EotS people try to take towers that are not active.
In Arathi Basin and Deepwind Gorge people go BS/Market and stay there the whole game and never cap it while the enemy just runs a nice circle for the other bases.
Kotmogu same as always, no one taking the orbs.
WSG/TP no one does anything about the EFC until the EFC is already back in his base and sometimes people realize that maybe going for the flag instead of midfighting might actually be a good idea.
Silvershard Mines, people don’t stand in the circle but around it…very helpful.
I do recommend Blizzard adds a proving ground type of system before people can join the real thing.

Sorry i just dont believe it. Yes the higheryour rating is the more they put you with lower ranking because the season has just started. But they cant ALL be that bad and clueless if they have roughly the same rank as you.
Most of the people i have seen at my ranking know how to play the bg and yes sometimes they get cought up in middle fights specially in carry the flag games but sometime that is kind of unavoidable.
In other map sometimes a reminder on chat is enough to snap people out of it and pay attention to the objective.
I really think you are being very unlucky or have really high expectations. You must be one of the best pvp players and just think everyone else is crap next to you which would be understandable. Just lower your expectations according to your rank.
I will give the mmr is absolutely crap and does no reward victories but punishes defeats severely, which makes you get stuck at certain raiting and I really hope they change that or a lot of people will stop playing after hitting that wall where the mmr gets all messed up.

Solo queue could be 100x the headache it is now and it would still beat playing tinder wow edish in the lfg linking exp from cataclysm only to get dropped after one game

Why is your experience more credible than someone else?
I gave up and unsubbed. BG blitz was the thing i looked forward to the most and its absolutely broken. Both chars i play cant get out of 1600.
Today it almost looked like i finally get out of 1600 with my paladin, then suddenly i get TWO HEALERS WITH 500 RATING that had no clue what they were doing. They died instantly and had less healing than the DPS, no cocoons, no spins NOTHING. They just ran STRAIGHT into the enemies and died. Now im back down to the rating i had when i started Today thanks to the losing streak that followed.
This is NOT FUN.

I am by no means the best player out there, far from it, but nothing I said was a lie, its simply my experience in the game mode. I have no reason to make it up, theres so many posts just like mine, I think if anything you are lucky that you made it out of the mmr hell. I think the best I can do rn is just wait until it calms down and the mode filters itself a bit, or idk.
Same here! I was return only because of it. And it’s broken. I go well with my alt (!) warrior but most played for whole life feral stuck at 1400!
I jumped into it for the first time myself today and it’s shocking…
There needs to be some mandatory competency check before signing up. A tutorial that explains how battlegrounds work and highlights that killing other players isn’t a priority over tackling objectives.
I just had a capture the flag match where nobody but me was going after the flag in the middle. No matter how often I tried to nudge people with markers and instructions in the chat, nobody listened.
