I’ve always enjoyed playing battlegrounds in the lower lvl brackets, especially 10-19 and 20-29, but in both SOM and Classic Era its basically impossible to queue for one, and actually have one pop - talking months since last one did in some cases(queue time says "unavailable). I have checked online and it seems like alot of people are sharing my frustration. whats going on, are BG’ing dead?
lowlvl BGs in classic era are dead yeah but lvl 60 pvp is going on.
I guess lowlvl BGs in TBC are also non existant
The issue with classic , no matter if it’s SOM , tbc , classic era is that most player just level 1 char and don’t alt army.
So very few lowbies running 1-60 , 58-70 content
Yeah I levelled up a Warrior in SOM to do 30-39s, and was pretty disappointed to see that the queue time is mostly ‘unavailable’.
They pop on occasion, but you can be waiting anywhere between 30 minutes to several hours. And still not be guaranteed a game.
Really a shame, as 39s were the second most popular bracket after 19s in Classic.
As for Classic era - Level 60 BGs do happen at peak times. As in, during the evening or on weekends.
Better be head to toe in Naxx gear though, or else it will be rough.
On SoM there were 39 games every night until ZulGurub then when it did pop we’d have 8-10 horde vs 3-5 Alliance. It’s weird given that the Alliance outnumber us on all servers they are outnumbered in 39s.
For other brackets I haven’t seen anything pop since January.
