Is there anywhere that has the record xp gain for winning wsg av etc per level bracket ?
There’s no xp gain for bgs in classic.

I think BG exp was implemented in WOTLK (if im wrong, please someone correct me).

I think you got xp from handing in marks that you get at the end of the BG. Not 100% sure though. It was a repeatable quest, but as already said you don’t get xp from the BG itself.
No XP in BG’s - you do get XP for turning in marks
My 29 lock was exalted in WSG and AB pre x-realm
how much xp for turning in marks though?

You also gain XP � 1200 for every set of 3 WSG marks you hand in
I think marks are one-time XP. Repeatables usually don’t award XP more than once.

I don’t remember which patch it was added (think TBC?) but they added exp lock in the same patch, for twinks.

You only got the XP once for turning in marks, then it was just rep. I think…

sure this is wrong as i leveled a hunter while playing bgs to maintain standing 1 however i dont know what patch this was on as it was on one of the new servers after launch

The quest is repeatable, but 'resets" for every new level bracket you enter.
Only the first hand-in (per level bracket, as explained above) gives you xp. The xp is equivalent to any random quest.

You don’t get xp for classic bgs, that’s why twinking is a thing in classic etc

The first time you turn them in you get gold, xp and rep after that its just xp and rep - 100%
No guessing no speculating this is how it was and how you can level in BG’s - I know this because i handed in tokens at 29 for rep until I had a few xp away from dinging, after that it was a grind to exalted.
I was exalted in both WSG and AB in vanilla on my 29 Warlock pre x-realm - and also had a shammy and mage in the 29 bracket.
