Seems to be common problem at the moment and it seems to be on blizzard’s end so nothing we can do about it. However, when I closed battle.net app and started wow.exe and logged in from there, I was able to select my main account and log in.

After latest battlenet app restart, the account selector is now again visible for me.

Same thing. Oddly, I can choose the EU version, but when I log in the character list is empty. Man, and these guys will be in charge of all the game’s addons from Midnight on - that’s going to be a looong clown fiesta, and hopefully end with them taking several steps back.

Open the CONFIG.WTF file found within your WTF folder.
Edit this line: SET portal "US" to say SET portal "EU"
Save the file and use wow.exe to launch

if you use WOW exe it asks you for Authenticator. Then when you put the number it shows this error : BLZ51914400.

Same problem. Both me and my husband can’t see our retail EU account on logging in.
Keeps sending us to the US servers (trial account).
Even altho region is set for Europe on both account in browser as Battlenet banner.

Maybe try again, for me it did work right away. I use the code from Battle.net app => menu button => Authenticator => Enter code manually.

Same here, after downloading the pre release update can only log into classic. Retail now shows only “Starter Edition”
