Battlenet doesnt show me the main wow licence on live wow!

Open the CONFIG.WTF file found within your WTF folder.
Edit this line: SET portal “US” to say SET portal “EU”
Save the file and use wow.exe to launch

After changing the config file, I logged into a starter account, logged out, and my normal account appeared.

this is the exact same for me main account with 15 years+ effort just not showing in live but i can see it on classic

I own The War Within and have an active subscription on WoW EU1, but when I log in, the Battle.net launcher only shows WoW EU2 (Starter Edition) and WoW US1. Because of this, the game launches as Starter Edition even though my sub is active on EU1.

yeah I had the same problem as many here, with wow classic no problem I can choose between ‘‘wow1’’ or ‘‘wow2’’ (wow2 being the main active one), but with Retail wow there was no option. Still dont know what is the problem but at least I’m not alone…
But starting the Wow.exe instead of the launcher did work as it gave me the option when starting to choose between wow1 and wow2, so to everyone still wondering: in the battlenet launcher at the WoW page next to the ‘‘Play’’ button you have the options ‘‘gearwheel’’ click on that, and there you will see the option ‘‘see in explorer’’ in there you will find your ‘‘retail’’ folder with the wow.exe.
