After changing the config 2-3 times finally works for me

In the WoW games folder, if you check the .build.info file, you should see four lines. The second, third and fourth should be saying EU, but mine shows US in the second line.
My husband checked his and all three lines show EU for him and he had no problem logging in etc. While I had to do the WTF confi workaround, because nothing else helped.

Not sure if this will help others but I got around this by logging into battle.net account going to games and subs > making an EU starter account > logging into starter account > press back until you hit the login screen, press log out then I could see my other account in the drop down list.
Without making the starter account in EU my drop down list just had WOW1 which was US.
Pain to do but worked for me at least.
The previous work arounds did not work for me, I opened the WTF folder, opened Config.wtf in notepad and changed SET portal “US” to SET portal “EU”
Then logged in normally from the launcher (despite my account still not showing) and could see my characters again
i looked it up it seems many people have the same issue its kinda werid
mine looks fine all lines eu. still missing my main account.

Just wanted to report that I got the same issue… Used the solution in the initial post to play, but I hope this gets fixed soon!

Yup, same issue here, even tried reinstalling the game, switched regions on the account login, issue still present, for some reason i can’t even install some of the games as the installation is not available yet xD
