Just managed to log in, my main account just reappeared.
So we pay a monthly subscription to this game, and for many people, friday night is one of the only times they have proper time to enjoy and relax with some WoW, but now they can’t. I know mistakes happen and bugs occur. but comeon. Been over 3 hours at this point.

None of the workarounds did the job for me so I removed the entire line that says SET portal “US” and then launched the game. Battlenet then gave me the choice to select between US Starter server and my usual server.
I’ve just closed battle.net app completely, and reopened it and my wow eu license is back, you can try the same.

Had this been US servers you would seen the great eagler blizzard swoop in and fix it, but nah its just us red headed step children EU thats not as much worth as US player. time to poney up some compensationary time.

What you also can do it.
Go to program files - world of warcraft - retail and click wow there.
If you have an authenticator, use battle net on your phone (if you use it there) use authenticator and manually put in the code.
ITS FIXED! Just Close your battle net app and open it again and you can login.

Just Relaunched Battle.net, things back to normal it seems

hey, going to support home and Remove World of Warcraft Starter Edition fixed the issue for me and my friend
guys u need to uninstall PTR 11.2
There’s a workaround this problem guys, just open your WoW folder, go to retail and launch wow.exe from there, just type in your login info and you will be able to login without any issues. Hope this helped <3
Update: They apparently fixed it, just close battlenet and login back again and you should have your account shown again.
I closed my bnet. restarted my pc. Opened bnet , a download started , download finished , re-launched bnet, problem fixed.

launching from wow.exe not working for me, still only shows another account, not the one I have as active
The work around with editing the CONFIG.WTF file worked for me and was finally able to login

Working for me now didn’t even need to restart bnet.
Just logged in and thought I’d been hacked. Felt pretty queasy as my account is 20yrs old. SO relieved it’s not just me!
