Same issue- can’t change which account I’m using.
I have an EU account and a US account (My US account being my main one)
I have War Within for my EU account and Midnight for my US one- but now if I have to jump through hoops, editing files, get a different launcher or faff around just to use my EU account, I’ll just take a full refund thanks…
I can change region for Classic, but not Live.

+1 here but found a work around…
You can brute force the realm by doing the below and then launching the wow.exe and logging in manually.
- Open the CONFIG.WTF file found within your WTF folder.
- Edit this line:
SET portal "US"to saySET portal "EU" - Save the file and use wow.exe to launch
This helped a few People btw

I have the same issue. Out of 3 licenses I have on my account the only missing is the one with TWW

yea, i got 6 guild banks on my account(all for mats) 2 got wiped including my main guild bank, 3 more had stuff and stuff missing. still no compensation from blizz for all the gold and time taken…

Same issue here. I got dc’ed, pressed play and thought my sub ran out. Had a token in my bags and asked me if i wanna use it. I did. So basically cos of this Blizzard mistake i lost 400k for a game time on WoW2 for no reason. Didn’t even notice that was opened on wow2 haven’t used that account since Warbank came out. Great. Ticket incoming boys.

I have lost a few characters due to bugs during the years but this is the first time I lost entire account.
I know I don’t actually “own” anything in this service but this is still quite extreme considering how much actual money I have spent so far.
Edit: unsubbed of course, no account means no payment.

changed your wtf config file portal from US to EU and load the game manually from the game directory also take the tick out of remember account. it loaded for me

Odd, didn’t work for me. I changed it, saved it, went into wow… it went to the US version, and when I checked the file again it had defaulted back to US

sorted the issue by pre-purchasing Midnight
Having the same issues. And I can’t force it by logging in using the wow.exe, because there it asks for my old (dead) authenticator. I’ve switched to the appp, but that’s not doing anything…
So can’t log in…

mine now show under classic but I have no classic accounts… my bnet client is totally f-ed up atm…
