Well, changing the config file did let me to log back into my EU account, so thank you. I am kinda curious why the US account, that I accidentally got logged into initially, had a bunch of gnome characters on it (definetely not mine)?

HEY EVERYONE I JUST MANAGED TO LOG IN.
Do the config file trick:
Open the CONFIG.WTF file found within your WTF folder.
Edit this line: SET portal “US” to say SET portal “EU”
Save the file and use wow.exe to launch

Be sure to launch wow.exe right after saving config.wtf file, because somehow it managed to go back to US earlier for me.

Same here, European accounts gone. In the past I could just select EU and US accounts alike from the Battle.net launcher, now it shows I’m connected to “Americas” and my EU accounts don’t show up.

Having the same issue, it keeps loging into NA servers altho I play only on EU and I put EU and it still logs me into NA, small indie company, hope it gets fixed soon

Logged in on the trail account, pressed back and log out, filled out the log in information and then the pop up for the different accounts appeared. So I could log into the live account.

But then in game i could chat anymore with my friend, his account was gone from the friend list, while i can see in BN that he’s online and in game. And if I press on his name in the chat frame from a chat from yesterday, it connects me with a whole different player.

Anyone else have had that issue?

go into your wow folder then go into retail then wtf folder the load the config file in notepad and scroll down to where it says portal and change it to EU then load the game with the icon in the game directory instead of the launcher. when you log in remove the bit where it says remember me so it removes the choice of servers and it should log you in
