The worst part is that there is apparently an issue affecting a lot of people (my guild mates & other people on AD communities) yet no official statement on the topic yet. Iād have really appreciated it if somebody came out of the woodwork and gave us a solid explanation, something more than āwe are aware of the issue and working on itā.

Itās currently initializing with 40kbyte/s.
It says 302.91MB soā¦ thatās around 126min to initialize.
2 Hours for 300Mbā¦ The 90s called to tell you they could update games faster.
Game sits on a 970EVO M.2, bandwidth is definitely more than 70kb/sā¦ what up? Someone doing it by hand?
Iām normally not the kinda person to complain about slight software mishaps. Weāre all human. But 40kb/s is ridiculous 
Try pausing and restarting the update, see if your speed spikes, mine does. I have paused and restarted it 1000 times and clawed my way to 94%
Same here. I took around 2 hours for 300 MB. After that, thereās another 150 MB.

Have to say averaging anywhere between 1.68 and 4.72 KB/s is awesome. Canāt wait to play next week

Good thing i have to go afk for work tomorrow so when i get home it might hopefully be done by the time Iām home
And i thought it was my problemā¦ same here with my 5kb/s speed 
You might get a few % at least during a workday

It actually seems to be a world-wide problem right now. Weāre having the same problem in germany, and even in the US it seems to exist:
I guess most people there are just not yet at home to realize it, hence why thereās so little posts about it nowā¦
My last 3% suddenly got done instantly, has it been improved for others?
Just pause unpause the download all the time , its working for me 
i did that for an hour, but then I realized that even though the speed went up, each time you pause it, you lose about 10-15mb of downloaded content, so pay attention to how many mb is remaining
