hahahah but ye, so sad, this is so sad
download for like 3hours and belike 40MB/75MB and one click on pause restart ,its start at 0MB/75MB,is this a freking 2024 game i playing?or i play this total-wasting-mylife product in Mars?
I tried the pause restart once figured it went back to the beginning so i gave up on trying that
What a GAMER!
Go into your “World of Warcraft_retail_” folder, and run WoW.exe manually.
Then login that way - then you can play without having to wait for the battlenet app to update.

same here, Battle.net must be one of the worst launchers to ever be made… i dont have a single issue with ANY other launcher (steam, EA, Epic etc). and the ammount of dev posts about checking the internett frustrates the F out of me… imagine bein one of the only games left in the world with a monthly subscription PLUS THE ACTUAL GAME, and you cant even get the launcher right… close to criminal.
same issue with me, i have a 2gb speed on speed test and fast ( internet speed testing sites ) and my download speed is 9kbs… ive been waiting hours to play and its still at 50%

Same issue here. Tried launching through wow.exe, but that solved nothing.
WoW updates are somehow always 100x slower than any other downloads for me.
Interestingly on wifes pc it downloaded without a hitch, i’m now looping on scanning game files xD
What is funny is that these topics are always present and NOT A SINGLE BLIZZARD EMPLOYEE have ever answered. But hey the second someone has billing issues, blizzard always responds quick.

I cant downloading updates either, I did delete battle.net and reinstalling now and its taking ages to download even battle.net itself DEVS please fix it I cant play game its our holiday!
Yeah, I think I jinxed it. Down to ~5 now 
And pausing just restarts it at 0MB, so not gonna do this again ^^
Edit: Got the final few kb done and now it updates with 100kb/s.
So it does get better.
We’re paying for expansions AND the game time, and the trash quality of the infrastracture & support seems like it’s a 3rd rate F2P game. If I pushed a rev on prod that would bottleneck the product update infrastracture like this, I’d have to look for a new job. And it’s a company with about 80 people. And Blizzard with its status of a multi-million behemoth keeps having these issues every few weeks.
I understand WoW-related issues, the game has its age and all the heaped-up layers can - and do - cause problems. But this is a network-related issues with throttling, and shouldn’t exist for longer than 5 minutes at worst… not 3 hours and counting.
It’s a farce. It’s just a shame we’re the actors, not the audience.

I have the same problems with updates and i have just cancel my subscription if this is the services that they provide why bother to try to login.

I got this to… 5H in still downloading a update that is 369MB BIG…
Im now at an all time High with my download speed at a wooping 134Kb/s
average is aout 25-40Kb/s

Update its now done. out of nowhere it jumped up to 10Mb/s … dont know what is going on
