As the topic line says… I am being targeted and mass reported for something that is NOT against ToS.
Basically, I play on Thekal-EU Alliance and I run a GDKP (which is not against tos), for some reason there are some really strange people that think they can make their own rules for the server and have agreed to mass report anyone running or participating in GDKPS. Now I have screenshots to back this claim up and I just received a bad behaviour warning in game, therefore I really want to make noise around this to have blizzard step in some how. I want to ensure there is a way of me NOT getting banned for absolutely no reason. Do GMs actually reply to any of these forum posts or get into contact with players some how?
Now my understanding is that reporting players for no REAL reason is actually against tos, so I would absolutely love to see Blizzard take action against this players that have targeted me or at the very least look into the reports made against me.
I have been removed from the server discord, which is absolutely fine. If they don’t want me on there then that is fine as it is a completely separate communication tool from in-game channels. The in game world channel I and all my guild are constantly banned from, which is fine because its a player made channel so again whatever. But being muted in game does not allow you to join any LFG tools, I can’t whisper anyone to join a grp therefore being completely disabled from the game.
Sorry for the rant but surely there is something that can be done here?
Hang in there you will always find some people being jealous for the most absurd thing, imagine reporting someone because they run gdkp , people with gold will always look for a way to spend it or why bother anyway ?
Last time i knew nothing wrong with it.
Just for the info of how crazy it gets ,i had a real life friend whose passion was farming in retail, he was farming for hours he owned more than a million gold back then which was much more harder than nowaday.
The people of his realm hated him for no reason and reported him rofl although no sanction was found.
While i’ve never experienced GDKP, it sounds very shady and unfair. Just stop doing it if it’s causing you troubles. I mean, you obviously KNOW where the problem lies.
When you get enough reports to actually get into trouble, you’re probably doing something wrong, whether it’s against TOS or not…And GDKP sounds toxic af, so sucks to be you i guess.

It’s basicly a buy-in raid.
You pay ppl to join their raid and you BUY the items that drop. The leader takes around 10-15% share and distributes the rest “evenly”.
It’s a parasitic design to pray on the slower gearing players.
The reason why most ppl went to the fresh servers was to avoid these GDKP infested realms like Gehennas and Firemaw.
Not suprised at all they get mass-reported.
I hope it continue’s untill they’re all gone, for the sake off the playerbase
I myself quit Gehennas long time ago because off the GDKP raids, it was impossible to find a descent clear-raid that did MS>OS Roll systems.
I am prety certain it is not against the rules as the Dev’s host GDKP raids themself.
However…
It supports and enhances the grip RMT has on Classic. It also enhances the elitist mentality off “You need Tier 10 gear to join the Tier 10 raids, unless you pay 10k/item”.
It’s a terrible Elitist COMMUNITY made design, and the Casual/regular community (which is prety much bigger) is dealing with it in their possible ways.
Stop doing GDKP runs. Even if it is not against the rules people will go on a crusade against you for it.
Bundle up the screenshots and file a report about it, going into as much detail as you can, which hopefully will get Blizzard to do something against the false reporters (likely not, but one can hope).
Currently GDKP is lumped together with the advertisement spam that is going on in Retail right now, so you will encounter high levels of hostility at the mere mention of it.
It’s an extremely toxic system forcing people to buy items in group content for absurd amounts of gold, this system needs to be banned and im glad the OP is being reported for promoting toxic behaviour.
