Zone is actually amazing. A lot of answered questions, doubts and explanations about Kaldorei future.
Cinematics were met with tears.
What is missing in this zone, portal to Valdrakken -vice versa, portal to Ashenvale. And that night elf mages could open portal to Bel’ameth.

Knowing returning to Teldrassil is still on the cards is a breath of relief for sure. I kinda hate how Bel’ameth looks tbh. Feels like a Val’sharah quest hub but awkwardly stretched out to try and give the impression of scale.

I found it a bit weird TBH, i understand wanting to reclaim their lands, but Teldrassil? What is Bel’Ameth supposed to be then? I’m not sure where this is all going.
The bit about more and more Night elves settling down near Amirdrassil bodes well for development of the town into a proper city (With, one can hope, proper city amenities like an auction house, bank, transmog and stuff…), if Blizz decides to actually do that, and it wasn’t just lip service, that is…
Firstly she didn’t say it will be regrown, she said they will build a new ones the life begins to bloom.
ANd saying htings in cinematics and novels has traditionally meant nothing - look at suramar, Val’sharhah and like all the night elf novels.
It was touching, dind’t bring me to tears. - still annoyed with Malfurion been left so completley out of it, the night elves looking super useless in 10.2 - hte most you see them do is being killed, while everyone helps them, htey got no empowerment, and got no city.
Tyrande is a high priestess of Elune a moon goddess = arcane counterpart to the nature wild gods, yet they were fashioning her into some nature queen when Malfurion is the druid - firstly rude to him, he is a great hero totally underused in wow the game, amazing in the novels and WC3, and secondly as if to remove the arcane half of the night elves - they are NIGHT elves, not nature elves - the night, the arcane, the moon and stars - purple skin, silver/blue/gold eyes - those two or converse opposites, yet together working in balance and harmony - like the balance druid class shows typifies the arcane night elves exemplified in their priestesses and their mages (Highborne and moonguard ) and nature night elves exemplified in their druids and hunter/archer sentinels.

Nowhere. That tree is gonna stay coal for the forseeable future. This was done to shut the nelf complainers up. Someday… yeah, right after the dance studio.
If night elves get Teldrassil back with updated buildings that’s a good change.
An alliance city must always be hostile against horde, Bel’ameth can’t be their real home.
Besides Night Elf capital must have portals to their zones like Ashenvale-Darkshore-Hyjal.
I also would like to see Malfurion in action instead of being afk like last 2 expansions. Last time we saw him doing something was darkshore cinematic in which he 1v4d a horde mob.
Night Elves are my second favourite race after human so I’m overall satisfied with the outcome.
Amirdrassil is still growing I believe, so a city atop could be in the future (though knowing Blizzard it won’t be) I saw little balconies with doors into the tree all over the place, though.
A city on top of the tree would be a silly idea IMO, especially since Amirdrassil is actually shaped like a tree.
Having the grounds around Amirdrassil filled with Kaldorei towns and Bel’Ameth itself, that would be amazing, though. (Just make the skybox and lighting a bit more “Night”-like, like Ashenvale, for instance)
The whole cinematic was cringe af and stupid but there were nice hints about redoing other zones in the future and going back to teldrassil which is GREAT.
Belameth is veey nice i do feel like im back in the starting zone of Teldrassil. Shame is there is barely anything but I guess that makes sense.
Another shame is that there are no quests or open world activties there, which is weird and which means within a month nobody will ever go there again which is a shame. I hope in one of the future 10.x parches they add content there. And please a portal to Valdrakken.
The rest of the island is kind of empty. But I guess it makes sense too and they will further populate it if they add more content there, which I thing they will otherwise its a waste of dev time, the settlements are beautiful and with lots of details. Very nelf.
I cant say the same for Gileas. I hope that terrible quest was only the first installment and they actually repopulate the city and add content there, otherwise what a waste of time. I absolutely love that citiy is gorgeous
And lots of tree houses! People seemed upset there was no city so I assume they wanted a city atop a tree like Teldrassil. I prefer the village aesthetics personally.
I found at least 2 tree houses in the village (well, doors in the trees!). Gave me real player housing vibes!LOL
I loved the zone. The cinematics got me in the feels and I thought they were very well done. I loved going around and talking to all the NPCs.
Im on an RP realm and I can see Bel Ameth being popular for alot of players to RP.
Also I found my own personal easter egg!.. a little dog named Hannah!

But how I want it though. A new sky box in Darkshore showing a new tree. With city lights and all in the distance.

Yeah be great place to RP, especially since there isn’t actually anything to really do there so it won’t be crammed full of people soon.
Shame Gilneas hasn’t gotten the same treatment but hopefully in the future it will - though people RP in it now anyway.
Yeah, pretty much my feeling on it too. And Tyrande and Malfurion seemingly retiring… ok. I guess they deserve that after 10k years lol but still. It all felt a bit odd. Either way, time for other stuff and other races.
I did actually found myself with teary eyes when Tyrande and Malfurion reunited.
Even though I am horde,I always liked their love story.

I think the purpose of Amirdrassil is to serve as a retreat for Night Elves people.
This is where all the other groups of elves will gather and work together in harmony to create a better future.
after all the city is called Bel’ameth (Arms of the Goddess).
My guess is Amirdrassil is tired to the midnight expansion more.
What I want to see in the game is the world to feel alive rather than what it is right now.
I would like to see more world development in the game rather than the old ways which is nothing when even though the quest text quest said it did.
Yeah, and how it’s in-game is what truly matters, in the novels, it can be a castle in the clouds for all i care, WoW is a game first and foremost (Most people don’t even read the novels), so how things look in-game is of paramount importance, same for storytelling, things that are only told in novels will pass by almost all players…
