Best Era server to character clone?

Hello everyone!
Recently due to a change of heart I decided not to continue my Warrior journey into TBC and luckily heard about character Transfers/Cloning that blizzard (usually and hopefully) offers when the older classic servers came to an end.

What is the best Era server to transfer to for raiding and generally being alive and active?

About me:

  • I am a warrior tank with decent gear and would love to be in an active guild that focuses on raiding every week and not missing any. I love raiding.
  • Loot system doesn’t matter to me: GDKPs, EPGP, DKP, SR are all fine by me
  • Having fun while raiding and not cry about dying and losing World buffs / Consumes.
  • I hate PvP, Ganking and any of the sorts.

I am very conflicted on which server to transfer to and not make the wrong decision. Firemaw or Pyrewood?

I am asking the people in the forums because sadly the people of Thunderstrike discord are a mixed bag of heavy toxicity and lack of knowledge.

You will not have much of a choice. From Anniversary you will be able to transfer to either Firemaw if you are on a PvP anniversary realm or Pyrewood Village if on a PvE realm.

Both servers are good Era servers / clusters, with the PvP one being bigger than the PvE - but also with lots of boosting and GDKP, which you won’t see on the PvE cluster.

I mean… the server where PvP and Ganking happens every time you go out to farm or get world buffs, or the server where it doesn’t. Not trying to sound like a the aforementioned Thunderstrike server discord, but are you daft? Why is a server where the thing you “hate” happens all the time as one of your options?

Normal players seriously need to stop considering sociopath servers as an option and just go to normal servers.

Do you want to dispell wbuffs and attack people in open world often? Go Firemaw. Do you want to do literally anything else? Go Pyrewood.

Problem is he want to use the server transfer. If Blizzard do what they did in SoM then he can only transfer to the same type of server - which is Pyrewood Village or Firemaw if he plays on a PvP server now - there’s no realm selection choices available.

There is an option to move from PvP to the PvE cluster.

I hate pvp yes but I dont want a low population server that barely raids or goldmaking uppertunity is low.

Firemaw will be my last option. I may just gulp it and be a masochist and be a stormwind statue until raids happen

U cant transfer characters to Legacy relams and i dont think u can swap from Anywersary into Mop client anyway.

We r talking here about transfer from Anywersary to some classic server right, because op dont want to continue into tbc?

We are talking about transfer from Anniversary to Era. I don’t know why you mix Legacy into it :slight_smile:

It even says so in the title.

Oh I did not know Era have same name as legacy servers but still I dont think it will be possible since Era cant transfer to Anywersary also we have advantage over dual specs.

Server names are the same because Era is a copy how Legacy looked just before it turned into TBC.

Regarding dual spec: we don’t have that in Era, but that problem is fairly easy to solve: just transfer with the spec you currently have.

In perfect world yes but not on Azeroth. Same as Sod players cant transfer their chars .

I don’t care for ERA cloning we will have to start from scratch with classic+

That is something entirely else. They have completely different gear
