I’m planning to reroll to a healer, I was wondering which healer is the “best” atm in pvp/pve?
Pros/cons of different classes etc.
My feeling on this is that if you’re that oblivious that you have to ask then you should just play what appeals to you since you’re not going to be playing it optimally anyway.
disc priest but you’d hate playing it as a fresh healer.
In my limited experience, Rshamans, Rdruids and Dpriests (in that order) are best for M+.
Palas are best for PvP because their bubble allows them to cast 2 or 3 heals before they get 1 shot…
The one you like the most will always be the answer to these kind of questions.
Rshaman is worth trying imo
That would be true if this game was balanced. Working on a character is a lot of time and investment, if it turns out his character is in bad spot what is he going to do? Community is minmaxing and super toxic right now, no one will want to play with him and there’s only so much you can do solo. Ask DPS Demon Hunters how they feel right now.
In my M+ experience through SL so far, resto shamans no doubt
I always feel secure with a resto shaman healer, they just have so much throughput, and good dps too.
I have no problems getting invites as a holy priest to the keys I want to do.

Druid / shammy / priest
Druid and shammy are great, disc priests are hard to pull, needs training and need great deal of anticipation during fights.
If you go Druid or Shammy, you wont do a misstake. Both class have excellent ranged dps spec.
Yea, so he should totally subscribe to that fotm trope to magnify it…
I mean, trying to buck the trend requires you to be better then average, if you roll fotm you can have the average experience.
Nothing changed, I feel exactly the same when I was playing feral druid during BfA

Or it could turn out he hates how they play.
That’s why you should go with the class you like the most, not the one that’s theoretically the best.
Balance affinity now does more damage than feral. I switched to it on an alt but still have feral on main. Old habits. I like to cat weave.

FOTM is probably resto shaman, since they were recently nerfed for being too good and still they’re the only healer with an interrupt.
Druids are always strong in M+ and pugs love them.
Monks have high output but no raid-wide damage reduction cooldown, but an AoE stun might be useful in M+.
Holy priests have a lot of buttons and are hard to master but powerful if you take the time.
Disc priests are misunderstood by every pug ever but also very desired because top tier players use them.
Paladins are all complaining that their easymode days have gone.
I don’t know whether to cry or cry when I see the thought processes and reasoning of some people.
Druid is proactive just like disc tbh. Probably not as punishing but you need anticipation as druid as well.
He asked for the best healer nowadays. He did not mention that he wanna have fun while playing
