When it comes to why I like the class. Well thats pretty easy. Awsome in bgs with some practice. easy to obtain good gear. Meaning you dont have to rank in pvp to get good gear , we get to wear tier sets through entire game after all. At same time its not particular gear dependant.

Yeah though I wasn’t sure what he wanted since it wasn’t very clear. I used to tell people just to level with a class to 20ish and see if you like it but people always acted like it was a tall order lol
Edit: oh yeah I haven’t said what I like about my class. It’s as simple or as complex a class as you want it to be. People like to say otherwise but Hunter is the deepest dps class and yet you don’t have to bother with any of the complexity to find it extremely fun.
you should play what you like, even if some class’s are low tier as Enhance shamy or Ret paly! If you enjoy playing with thm? then Just play them!

There’s no one single top class (if there was then everyone would just play that) but many different playstyles are catered for. It’s only been in the past few years that I started enjoying melee classes really, always preferred ranged but I know others that stick to melee as that’s what they enjoy.
Mages are pretty solid for all but there’s rather a lot of them around. Hunter has always been my favourite but there’s a lot to do with training pets, ensuring you have a decent stockpile of arrows/bullets and the dead space issue that was removed in later expacs, i.e. you can’t shoot anything within 8 yards. As with some other classes once you hit 40 you have a complete gear change need with the shift from leather to mail as you do with mail wearers that switch to plate so maybe a clothy is the way to go. Warlock would be my preference in that case but again there’s pet management stuff to consider. I know the gear type issue isn’t so rigid with classic as at times you get better stats from other gear types than you’re ‘meant’ to be wearing but it’s something to think about.
Finding the playstyle that you enjoy most is by far the most important thing. No point rolling a class as you think it’s the best one if you don’t actually have fun playing it.
Paladin is brutally brilliant and I’d say shaman as well , to be honest any hybrid will satisfy you
Rogue is a good choice imo. You can’t tank or heal but you can delete people at will in world pvp. They don’t stand out so much in battlegrounds but they are definitely still a threat.
In pve they will be strong from start to finish and they are amazing for solo leveling. I’ve reached 45 in just over half the time it took me to level 45 on my warrior. It will take longer to find groups over a tank or healer though.
I love my rogue, goes pretty fast to level up if you go through dungeons so you can get your hands on blue weapons witch is almost a must since rogue is a burst class and when their energy and cooldowns is down it goes pretty slow with auto attacks and a few sinister strikes. If you don’t get blues you have to fight with outdated greens or it will drain gold from auction house to catch up for your level.
The best part is that you can sneak by almost everything and solo quests that you normally couldn’t alone and turn in quests for a lot of xp witch gives more than killing mobs one and one. If you get detected just gouge them or cripple poison them and run away and ofc vanish
They are great in both pvp and pve the only downside is they can’t heal or tank so it’s harder to get into groups.

There is no such thing. He can choose Paladin or Druid, the only overall classes, both of which suffer from the Hybrid tax.
For normal player is druid versatile tool.
For a min/max-er player is druid bad.
Got the message, just play the way you want 
PS : and when you are playing druid, your skin grows thicker
