If your thing is GDKP, bots, hackers, boosters, goldbuyers and toxicity Firemaw is the place to be. If you want a friendly environment without that retail mindset, the Pyrewood cluster is there for you.

but its active enough to actually pug some raids?

Absolutely, and the funny thing is. You dont have to spend obscene amounts of real money to get gold for gear. Isnt that crazy?

Ok, so PVE servers are pretty much dead, there are 3 people in Org and maybe 5 in SW. If you look at the Auction House, Horde has 4.8k items, Alliance has 12k just now.

Compared to Firemaw Cluster, there are lags in both Org and SW while Horde AH has around 36k items and Alliance has around 45k.

This should give you roughly the differences in population. You can also just create lvl 1 chars run to the major city and check for yourself.

Yes, you should pick Firemaw instead, have fun getting ganked by bored sad lvl 60 rogues on your journey

All PvE realms are on the same cluster a d the Alliance population is bigger. Not sure are there PUG raids, but they have more guilds and players then Horde. On Horde side, all raids are usually guild raids. Population should be roughly 65A/35H. I am playing on Horde side, and it’s a bit quiet. You can find groups but have to work harder to make them. The good side is that there’s no GDKP, bots and gold selling in trade chat, but sometimes you can feel like you’re the only one on the server. If you’re good with that, then PvE cluster is perfect for you. If you like more crowdy places and more activities, then I would suggest PvP cluster.

No, its not.
Our PvE-cluster is as active as possible on alliance.
Healthy eco, people leveling and building groups all day long, raidcontent cleared on a weekly basis where everyone is welcomed.

Pyrewood is about 2:1 to alliance, maybe 2.5:1, Ironforge.pro doesn’t track it correctly.
There are only two options for playing era on EU, firemaw cluster or the Pyrewood/PvE cluster.

PvE servers are not dead (from an Alliance player) & there a PuG raids all week AQ20/ZG/MC/BWL. Guilds generally do AQ40 & Naxx & some take non-guild members to fill up.

There are people leveling dungeons also.

Doesn’t matter which realm as they’re connected Mirage Raceway / Nethergarde Keep / Pyrewood Village.

Sure it’s not as busy as Firemaw PvP, but a much more healthy, friendly environment.

can you join cross realm guilds?

Yes you can. My guild is on Pyrewood but I am on Mirage Raceway. No difference. Well I suppose technically a ‘guild’ doesn’t have a realm, it’s just whichever the Guild Master is on.

nice. thanks for the answers, i think ill join the pyrewood.

i hate gdkp and retail mentality that you claim firemaw has. and i also hate getting ganked since the game is so unbalanced while leveling.
