Best Realm for Alliance

Hi guys I have decided to change servers to one that is not Horde dominated. Which PVP servers have the highest Alliance populations?

Ignoring small realms here. For PvP Mograine is the one where Alliance is losing the least with around 46%.

Oh so Horde is in the majority on every PVP realm? I know there are the most popular faction but that’s surprising.

Yeah the info is probably wrong though. I doubt that CensusPlus has any real use with layering.

I don’t think that layering specifically matters. It should be seeing a random assortment from all the layers. Of course there is error in any data like that and it’s hard to quantify it.

If there is an inbalance it must be due to preference since there is no clear OP faction. And if it was clear, it would be Ally:p

Also unballance is a self-accelerating process. If people believe that their faction is losing they reroll or transfer, so they make their prediction reality and this leads to more and more people do the same.
That’s why any pvp oriented sandbox mmo have more than two factions or let players create their own.

That’s the thing I want to play on a PVP server but if one faction is outnumbered badly its just not worth it as you can’t get anything done.

how does layering matter as far as i know census works with /who? and who shows all people on your realm not your layer only

Yeah I would imagine that the idea of Horde being more dominant is mostly responsible for making Horde dominant. It’s difficult for me to believe that huge numbers of players truly selected a faction based on the difference in racials.

I rerolled to Alliance on one of the newer realms - I’ll be damned if I’m changing again! - and even though I’ve always played seriously Horde and only ever dabbled in Alliance, I’m thoroughly enjoying the ‘other side’ and I’m seeing a lot of Alliance everywhere

I think Ashbringer has a great Alliance population. Name itself will bring more alliance players if you compare to “Noggenfogger” or “Skullflame”.

As it was mentioned earlier Mograine is where u wanna go.
Horde/ally ratio aint too bad here compared to other realms.
You have to deal with edgelord wannabepro undeads also here but less than anywhere else.
Noggenfogger is 90% horde /clap to them

Difference in class for me. Anyway, i think it wilk balance a bit, a lot of people from retail came, and well they mostly olay horde no matter if pvp or pve, so they choose horde cuz its the “go to” side for them
