Best way and try to trade 240k realm > realm?

So not even sure its allowed and I apologize if not for making this thread. I wanna trade 240k from horde Draenor to alliance Ravencrest. How would I try and do it?

TIA!

Well, since you can’t mail between alts, you could ask someone you trust for it to be a middleman of sorts.(if it’s about alt trading that is) You trade them, swap, they trade you. Also cross-faction trades are allowed in instances

Honestly I’d be willing to if you got nobody but I’m just some stranger on the forums.

^^ This, your trusted friend can create a level 1 char to be your mule as well.

Wait, why a level 1 actually? since cross-faction and cross-realm trading exist what benefit would there be in that? Unless you mean to avoid the whole process of entering an instance to trade cross-faction.

Are you able to trade 245k from draenor/horde to ravencrest/alliance? I understand its up to me but I would gladly take you on on that. Let me know and I will send you my bnet.

Well, yes, I can do that if you’re sure.

Edit: removed bnet info.

Ookay! I’ll add you and drop you a message when I’ve turned my laptop on

I’m sure we used to be able to trade gold between characters on different realms a while ago. I guess the gold farmers became too much of a pain for their automated systems to handled, so they just turned off that feature.

Alysea is suddenly 240k richer. :smiling_imp:

I know this wouldn’t have helped as you would still need someone else but just to put it out there just incase people didn’t know.

If you want to trade your friend anything from the other faction it won’t work in the open world but if you head to an instance it lets you.

Aside from a very helpful forumer, if you wait then they are introducing realm → realm mail I believe, cross-faction already being a thing.

I’m not that evil

In my 4 years of playing I’ve never seen this so it must have happened before i started playing, yet I don’t see it being a thing honestly. It really feels like they just made it, especially with some of the bugs that happened at first.

Did they announce it? I must have missed that.

Of course

Get a buddy from that realm you trust. Have him/her/them take the gold and give it back to you on your target character.

I did that just 1 week ago with one of my characters. It is 100% within the Terms since they lifted trading restrictions. If they didn’t implement a barrier or limit, it is intended.

Their level doesn’t matter at all, sorry didn’t meant to imply anything with that. It just can’t be a trial account. But if the friend plays Classic for example they could create a character on Retail, I managed to completely omit that part. I’m busy farming rares in game at the same time :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

My mind just went to there being a chance of said friend not having a character in both factions, buut i see!

You do have to go in an instance to trade if you are opposite factions. But once the person has the money on the right realm he can mail it cross faction to his main.

This confuses me. As I have tried to mail gold to my horde character and I can not as it says 'Target is unfriendly" how would blizzard distinguish what is your main and what is an alt ?

How recent is that? Because the update to make it work cross-faction is semi-recently.
